บท 34: Calin's True Soul - [ Chapter - 34 ]
After getting the gem looking item, he immediately rushed back into the beacon and left the abandoned city and then he was suddenly teleported back to the hidden cave and he saw the giant clam again.
Then the giant clam opened itself again and then Oceanus was there and she then asked, "I can feel that you have found the lost atlantic art.", then Ho-Seok just said, "Don't worry, I left it there with the potion.".
Oceanus was confused by this and asked, "Didn't you want to get stronger?". then Ho-Seok replied, "There is someone who is going to use them for good and you'll probably know who it is when you meet her.".
Then Ho-Seok smiled and said, "I hope you'll be able to have someone you will trust soon.", Oceanus was confused by what he said but her authority given to her by Poseidon told her he wasn't lying.
Ho-Seok then left the place and used his authority to boost him out of the hidden cave and he immediately got out of the Horde Sea then started checking out what was the gem he got before he left.
Then Ho-Seok appraised it using the Cthulhu's ability and it said it was a stone granted power of ice and frost so then Ho-Seok then thought of Calin when he read the words frost on the description of the item.
So then he decided to reinforce him using the gem then when he tried to do it, the moment the gem touched Calin the gem transformed into a liquid and fully covered Calin and he started glowing.
『I-I feel like I'm being upgraded again.』
Ho-Seok was excited when he heard this since upgrading egos was incredibly hard if you don't use an upgrade ticket or anything that can upgrade but Ho-Seok just upgraded Calin with a gem that he just found.
Then he heard a tiny roar from one of the spirits orbs following him and he notices that it was Seidon and he suddenly remembered that he was going through something so then he brought him out.
After bringing him out the shedding skins were there but it's body was now completely different from before, it was now an icy color and it's scales looked like ice shars and he didn't look like the other serpent dragon but in another color.
Ho-Seok then checked him out using Cthulhu's ability once again and he saw that his stats were now even better than the other two serpent dragons combined and Ho-Seok was so happy about it.
Then suddenly Ho-Seok hears a voice, "Ho-Seok?", then Ho-Seok suddenly went on guard since he knew that no one supposed to be there with him but then he suddenly sees a little boy floating and he was completely blue in color.
Ho-Seok realized who it was but asked to be sure, "Calin?", then the Calin immediately replied, "Yeah! Isn't it cool that I have my own body now?", Ho-Seok smiled and said "Yeah, so how do you feel?".
Then Calin replied saying, "Yeah, I feel okay and my spirit form can go in and out of the artifact I was in!" then he proceeded to show him that his spirit form could go in and out of the artifact.
Ho-Seok then tried using appraisal on him and it called him, "Calin's True Soul" and Ho-Seok was confused by what it meant since he only heard of the word soul but he doesn't understand why does it say true.
Then Ho-Seok called out Heca and asked her, "What is a true soul?", he asked curiously since Heca was a lich and she might know what a true soul is since she deals with alot of undead as well and she had consciousness.
Heca then says, "The true soul is the person's lifeline unlike a normal soul where a person would forget everything if he dies, the true soul would never die it would just become new life and create a new soul.".
Ho-Seok was able to understand it a bit and so now he saw it was dangerous that Calin was just unprotected when he is in his true soul form and it could actually kill him from existence without allowing him to move on to his next life.
But Ho-Seok didn't want to ruin it since he looked so happy that he could actually move around like a person so he didn't say anything but decided that he would just protect Calin secretly from any dangers.
Then suddenly Heca then said, "Also my lord, Pluto wishes to be summoned and be allowed to roam around because he wishes to grow his own army so that it would become easier to server the lord.".
Ho-Seok was a bit surprised that they were able to completely think by themselves but he found it very cool and then he summoned Pluto and then Pluto said, "Thank you my lord for trusting me, I will not fail.".
Then Pluto left and Ho-Seok saw that he actually went down a floor by himself and so that surprised him even lore but then Ho-Seok remembered Zuchi and Morph so then he summoned them as well.
After summoning them Ho-Seok then asked, "If you want to do anything right now you can, that includes you Heca and the other serpent dragons but when I call you, you have to come."
Then after saying that Heca and the rest knelt on one knee then said, "Thank you our lord, we will put this time to great use." then they started going to different places by themselves and Ho-Seok was genuinely surprised by how much they could think by themselves.
So then after that Ho-Seok decided that he would now go to the 4th floor now and trade the artifact with any of the parts of Cthulhu or Kthanid so then after he went down a floor he started heading towards the village again.
