บท 5: Another Ego - [ Chapter - 5 ]
[Ding! The Player "Ho-Seok" received 2x abilities!]
[Ding! The Abilities Are "Metallic Control" and "Thunder and Lightning Authority"]
After receiving the abilities Ho-Seok decided to get out of the testing area for the second floor and move on to the second floor itself and after arriving to the second floor, he decided to test out the new abilities.
But first he went to an area where not many people went to and started using metallic control, Ho-Seok control the metal in the ground and he tried to shape then as bullets then he shot them againts some big rocks.
The rocks were immediately destoryed when Ho-Seok shot those makeshift bullets that he made and next he trued his thunder and lightning authority and so he first created a lighting rod to catch the thunder.
Because it might cause too much damage and people might notice it, so Ho-Seok used his authority and shot one thunder bolt towards the lightning rod that he made and a big one just shot at it.
Ho-Seok now knew the strength of the two new abilities and he was pretty satisfied from this, since he was now one step closer to becoming the number 1 ranker but he still knows that he's far away from reaching that goal.
And after this Ho-Seok went around the second floor of the tower and he decided to go to the blacksmith on the second floor but before this he gathered loads of metals from the ground and after that he went to the blacksmith.
Then he told the blacksmith that he would pay with metals and that he just wanted some long and strong chains, the blacksmith agreed to make it but he would need to gather more metals for the chain and payment.
So for the next few hours Ho-Seok collected more metals into his inventory and Ho-Seok even went inside some caves to gather some metals and after all of that he gave it to the blacksmith.
When the blacksmith saw the huge pile amounts of metal, he was surprised because he didn't think that Ho-Seok could gather it this quick and after that he told him to come back tomorrow since he would be able to finish it by then.
So while the blacksmith was creating the chains that Ho-Seok asked for, he decided that he would go to another treasure dungeon on the second floor and this time he used the cloak with the concealing skill.
Then after that he went to the treasure dungeon and he found many great loot in there as well but again there was a piece of equipment that shouldn't have been there another orb so Ho-Seok tried checking if it was the same as the one he got.
And it shot towards him and a system notification came up about him having another soul-bound artifact but suddenly Calin started talking saying that he felt something was near there.
『Ho-Seok? I feel there is something within that wall, I'm not sure what it is but I feel something there.』
When Ho-Seok heard that he tried breaking the wall and when he did there was a chestplate but then suddenly another voice was heard by Ho-Seok and he was a bit shocked since it he didn't recognize it and sounded like a girl as well.
「He-Hello?」
After hearing the voice Ho-Seok immediately asked if she was the chestplate and she replied only after a while of understanding what had happened.
「I-I think so?」
And after hearing that Calin started talking as well since he was so excited since there was now another ego and she might be able to go with them since Calin had no one else to talk to except for Ho-Seok.
『Do you want to join us?』
The other ego was surprised that there was another voice but she felt a sense of similarity from the person who just talked and so she agreed and Calin told Ho-Seok to use the new artifact he got.
The new artifact he got was actually one that absorbs armor and luckily this ego was an armor as well and after absorbing it, the ego was still there so Ho-Seok ask if she could name her since she didn't have a name yet.
「Sure.」
So Ho-Seok decided to name this girl artifact from his other friend Olivia and in his past life Calin and Olivia were siblings and they were extremely happy together, they were the kindest people he had ever met.
And after that He continued to absorb the armor and weapons into his two soul-bound artifacts and it was able to get quite a few new abilities and it was also able to improve it's stats cause of this.
Then after this Ho-Seok bought a place to stay on the second floor and he slept there but still with a vigilant sense and then the next day, Ho-Seok woke up, bought something to eat and went back to the blacksmith.
He hoped that the blacksmith finished the work he commissioned and when he got there he found the blacksmith there looking satisfied of something so he was now even more excited to check out how the work was done.
The blacksmith actually told him that he gave a ridiculous amount of metals and there were some rare materials within the metals he gave so he used most of it into his chains and he says it's now one of his best works.
And when Ho-Seok took it, it had loads of good stats on it and he tried making the edge of the chain into a blade like form and back to it's normal position and he was pretty satisfied at how it turned out.
The soul-bounding absorbed the chain and now he could use a chain and sword as a weapon and with Calin and Olivia by his side he thought he could do anything since they were pretty powerful now as well.
