บท 119: Flames from the past

The next day, things were no better than the previous day for Travis. No matter how strong he was mentally, he was affected by what happened with the woman he thought he loved.

How audacious of her! It was hard for him to believe it. Despite that, he managed to take the little girl away without any resistance.

Luckily, she was used to having him around. In addition, he had office work to do. Hence he opted to go to the office with the little girl in tow.

His day wasn't the best so far. And it kept getting worse. A few minutes to lunch, a knock came from the door. He rubbed at his temple and gave the orders for the person to enter.

Little lily was deep asleep on the couch. Unfortunately, the more he saw of her, the more he was reminded of the betrayal from that woman. He felt better that she wasn't the girl's biological mother.

It would be such a shame. He was busy with the paperwork that he paid no mind to the person who walked inside.
