Wooosh! I didn't expect that bumpy ride or rollercoaster of emotions. The first chapter and the thing about the marriage caught me off guard! I just felt like giving a review while resting hehehe. Unlike most stories, the author smartly didn't focus on unnecessary details. Idk if it's just me but sometimes too much explanation about how things look is ruining the reading immersion. I know this is a common psychological romance novel but I'm seeing a lot of non-cliche things from this novel. The intriguing and intensely emotional 1st chapter will definitely pull you in. I like that there are no rape scenes here despite the story being dark. Keep it balanced author. I like how you played in the middle, not too dark but not too childish romance story as well. I am not aware of what kind of brain damage the MC has or whether that's real but it certainly showed its importance to the story right off the bat. But what I like the most is the author's visible talent when it comes to showing the characters' emotions. That's hard without actually saying it but the author made it look easy. Her vocabulary is nice too, I learned a few words here. The reading immersion is smooth. The transitions of points of view are smooth as well. There are few funky grammars sometimes but it's negligible and it wouldn't disrupt the reading immersion. I could imagine how many times the author proofread and edited the chapters to make them presentable and enjoyable. The author executed everything well but of course, no one is perfect. Kudos! Overall, it's a great read. It's worth a try reading this! Give it a chance! You will not regret it! I hope I provided a good review without spoiling everything hehehehe. I decided to read more no of chapters and see how author would buildup on those characters and blend with the opening chapters, and I genuinely say that I'm Impressed😍 The author has raised the bar she set and also have succeeded in matching the standards of the same💯 Honestly Speaking, Initially with the first few chaps, I was slightly uncomfortable with the ML and even hated him at a certain point, but glad that I continued to read further and understood the exact emotions author is tryin to portray🎡 All in all, this novel has, Love, darkness, Sexîness, thrill and so much more🎭 Wishing u all the luck dear❤🥂

This is my first time rating a novel with 5 stars... well that's all because of our author dearest. She had me so intrigued with the novel that every time I opened webnovel all wanted to see that author had released another chapter. I must say the roller coaster ride.. yup for me it was like a ride as author had given us a huge guessing game of WHO IS THE MALE LEAD!!! Since I really liked the Yong Liwei from the very start I had been rooting for him for ages... I mean since the author has released the novel. I was so nervous, excited, interested the whole time of guessing of who is gonna be the male lead!!! It is a very interesting story. At first I thought that it was going to be a normal plot but as I read through the chapters, author knows what to give the readers and keeps the story excited.
