The Jedi leading this force keeps his blade pointed at me. "No one interrupt! No need for more unnecessary lives to be lost! I'll face him on my own!" The troopers lower their weapons but don't put them away. The several Jedi behind him deactivate their lightsabers and calmly wait. I stay in my stance with my hood on. "I heard about your power Padawan Opal. Such a shame you have fallen to the dark side..." I scoff, and that makes him a tiny bit irritated.
He gets into a Juyo Stance and takes a couple of deep breaths. A Jedi using Juyo is rare, and dangerous too. Sith primarily uses that lightsaber form, and he isn't a Sith. He slowly starts walking left in a circular motion. I start walking to keep the distance.
I stay in my custom stance as he stays in the Juyo stance. He flexes his power ever so slightly, and that's when I prepare for his attack. He launches at me and uses his superior size and strength to try and break through my defense. He is good, great even. I notice a flaw though, all he is using is Juyo. He doesn't know anything other and Juyo.
I use some unorthodox Niman moves and hit him with a powerful force blast. He goes flying onto some crates. He is around 6'4 in height, with a large frame too. Djem-So would have suited him better than Juyo. He isn't the correct size for Juyo. While you can overcome this with proper training, he hasn't done so. He is trying to fight like he is 5'10 when he's not. Giving me the advantage.
He stands up from the crates and glares at me. I look towards him, and I can feel his emotions while not completely out of control. They are slipping just as Juyo makes them do. He is starting to become unbalanced.
I keep my blade ignited at my side, waiting for him to approach. "You are skilled in Juyo and have the makings to be a Master one day. However, unlike Jera over there. You travel that line. The one all Juyo users travel. I think you should have studied a different form of lightsaber combat." He keeps a calm look on his face, but I can feel that he resents my statement. Many Master's have probably said the same thing I have. It probably doesn't help that he was just taken the better of by a 13-year-old rogue Padawan.
His pride and ego are swollen beyond the normal for a Jedi. He jogs back into a spot about 12 feet from me and gets back into his Juyo stance. I look around for a brief moment and see all the Jedi that are watching. They are mostly Knight and Padawans. Jera is likely the only Master here. "I'm not going to fail in taking you down, Padawan Opal. You are guilty of many serious crimes, and I'll kill you if you make me." I turn my attention back to him and bear a small grin.
He sees it peak out from my hood. "You are overconfident and cocky, Padawan! It's going to be the reason you fall to me this day!" It looks like he's a glory seeker too, he must have come into the Order around the same age as me. He doesn't have the same indoctrination as the ones taken as babies.
I get into my custom stance with my still ignited blade and wait for him to attack. You can count on Juyo users being the first to attack. I can use that to my advantage. He dashes forward and uses quick attacks to try and get an easy strike in. I use Shien to deflect and parry his attacks away. He lacks grace and fluidity. He prefers brute power and straightforwardness. I continue to easily and expertly send all his attacks away.
I can feel him getting frustrated too. I incorporate my Ataru and Niman and go on the offensive. He wasn't expecting that, and I have him on the very edges of defeat. Juyo users lack a very important thing once they lose ground in a fight. Defense. Since he has only used Juyo, he has already lost this battle.
I use a micro force push to get his crap defense open, and I slice his entire right arm off. Starting at the shoulder. He looks at it in horror and has a gaping expression. I use force destruction, which is force blast on drugs, and I shatter his armor. He flies back as the pieces of his armor rain around me. He roles multiple times before being stopped by some Jedi. They immediately start using force heal on his chest.
As they start that, many troopers raise their weapons and start firing at me. I throw my left hand out and suspend all the shots in front of me. This is force stasis. They continue to fire more and more blaster rounds at me, but they get stopped in the wall of force too. Suspending midair. They all stop firing realizing it won't work.
I shove my hand forward, and I send all the blaster bolts the way they came. The only ones that live are the Jedi that deflects them away. I look around, and now there are only around 5 Jedi left, all at the Knight level. The rest of the Jedi are trying to wake up Jera or heal the Juyo user. "Before we continue this fight. I'll give an opportunity for all the ones still left to move aside. If you don't, I'll do it for you." I keep my lightsaber ignited at my side as I warn the 5 Jedi Knights in front of me.
I see their eyes shift to my left every so often. I look down, and I see the Juyo user's entire right arm. It even still has a grip on the lightsaber. I look back at the Jedi, and instead of getting in the way, they deactivate their lightsabers and move in different directions to help people that can be saved.
I use force Jump and leap over the artillery they never got to use. Making my way over the make-shift barricade in the process. The datapad I have has potential locations that Jacob Plour might have gone. There are 3 possible places, and the first on the list is Nar Shaddaa. I make it back to the ship that I stole on Hoth after leaping from building top to building top. They said it has a tracker on it, and it belonged to a Jedi.
I channel the force through me, asking to be shown where the tracker is. I'm taken to the back of the ship and into a little nook a normal person would never look. I pull the tracker off and use the force to crush it. I make my way into the ship and input commands. I fly into the space above Coruscant, and before I could be questioned, I lock the route to Nar Shadda. I activate the hyperdrive and leave the area around Coruscant. It's going to be 2 days before I get there.
That leaves plenty of time to train and get stronger. I have a feeling this search for Jacob Plour is going to take me all over the galaxy. The next two destinations I have to possibly check are Belsavis and Alderaan. That's if nothing pans out for Nar Shaddaa. I lean back in the pilot's seat and take a breath.
Everything has worked out in a way that will make more trouble for me, but nothing will stand in the way of finding my parents. I clear my mind and dive into the force. I spread my senses out and relax. In an hour, I'll begin training. Right now, I'm going to use the force to clear my mind. I have a lot to think about, and I need a break from it.
