บท 32: Spirit Contract
While two of them were talking among themselves, Raiken was also talking to someone about them.
"Lady ,are you sure you want me to befriend them ?"
"Yes ,they are in your future and to fulfill your destiny you will need such valuable friends as them" a soothing and gentle voice was heard in ear of Raiken.
He was advised by his lady to stop those two from entering kingdom that day.She insisted that they are good men and should be worth saving.Today also when Raiken was going to end that sorcerer,Lady advised him to go their with help of warriors he will meet in way.By recognising both of them Raiken understood that Lady wants him to befriend both of them.
He was born in Sorcerer kingdom of Gravestone forest.His father and mother sacrificed themselves in attack of evil spirit but their will of protecting their child was so strong that it didn't dissipated but were able to form Spirit contract with queen of night domain Lady Nisharose to become contract spirit of Raiken.
Sorcerers studying Black magic uses power of negative emotions and curse energy to use curses and other black magic.But for fighting and more great power , they search for spirits and creatures of beings from higher dimensions to form pact or contract to fight alongside them in this world.
Contracted spirits and creatures from higher dimensions can only be summoned for short period of time and they appear in form of their Avatar.They provide their assistance in exchange for some price.
Some evil spirits demand life force of sorcerers while some only life energy present in abundance in this world,some demand blood and sacrifices of humans and some for devouring other spirits.
Usually contracted spirits are low level creatures of higher dimension because only they can be agreed upon helping lower beings like humans.
But Lady Nisharose was not low level being,she is goddess or authority of night in her world.But she agreed upon becoming contracted spirit of Raiken on humble beseechment of his parents will.She in exchange took both of their soul to be born in her Kingdom.
But due to much stronger being she cannot casually break estrangement of dimensions therefore she can only send her Avatar as spirit .But Her Avatar has quality of growing along side with Raiken , moreover Avatar can stay as long as in world without any time limit.So to Raiken ,Lady was his only family and friend.
He may be first and only human to have a goddess as his contracted spirit . Therefore he speaks with her with respect although Lady insists him for treating her as friend .He always treats her like elder Therefore listens to her advice as obedient brother.
"Raiken,they are thinking you are talking to some evil spirit.If you want you can introduce me to them ,I don't mind"said Lady as she was laughing hearing exchange of Sauren and Zeph.
"But lady you yourself forbade me on disclosing your existense to other people."
"Yes it is best for you to not letting other sorcerers knew my identity but it is fine for these two humans.I trust them to be good person."
Raiken nodded gently and stopped in his tracks .Seeing him stopping,Sauren and Zeph also stopped.
"Did we reach ?"asked Sauren
casually to avoid suspicion of Sorcerer that they were talking behind his back.
"No, but I stopped here to introduce you to my contracted spirit"
"Your contracted spirit !"
said both Zeph and Sauren in unison.
"Yes usually every sorcerer in this era have one or two contracted spirit .Evil sorcerer we are going after is also offering sacrifices of humans to his spirit to obtain power ,but not all spirits demand blood and sacrifices only evil ones require that."
As he finished his statement,a halo of bright light appeared next to her.
"She is lady Nisharose ,my contracted spirit but it will be best if you not speak her name casually.You can call her lady."
A otherworldly beautiful lady appeared next to Raiken .
She was always visible to Raiken but will only become visible to others when she wish.She was so beautiful that both Zeph and Sauren was lost in her charm.She had perfect face that was simply not possible for any human to have because imperfections are what makes humans a human.This proves the fact she is from higher dimensions such perfections can never exist in this world
"Hello travelers nice to meet you.Raiken is good boy and I am sure you will develop friendship with him quickly."
Both of them came out of stupefied state after hearing her voice.Her voice was so gentle and melodious that it can calm anyone down instantly.
Sauren nodded in greeting and said,"Don't worry lady .Raiken is already in our friends list."
Zeph also nodded in greeting to lady to which she gently laughed and disappeared from view.
So now they understood that to whom Raiken was talking to all this time .If they have such beautiful lady as partner even if she is only spirit they will only talk to her whole day.
After this incident they didn't wasted any more time and chased behind Raiken towards destination.Soon they reached in mountainous region with very large number of stones of various sizes lying around ranging from size of house to size of small pebble.It was literally sea of stones.
"Be ready ,Lady can trace his usage of black energy which lead us to here ,he is nearby ....."
