บท 24: The Room of Requirement.

Alan still remembered how after this event with Selena people actually started to ease up in front of him. But most still looked like he killed someone from their family. Percy Weasley included. Actually Percy himself was a narrow minded idiot. Seeing the look of superiority and disgust in the eyes of that particular Weasley he didn't even want to try to be friendly. Smiling at a person who sees you even lower than animals and even trying to befriend him?

Not his cup of tea no matter the plan. Especially when he can easily go without him.

And if Fred and George are that way too he will just wait for Ron to outright kill the rat without hesitation simply kidnapping it on one of these nice sunny days. Of course after he recorded his testimony with thought crystal and robbed thoughts directly from his brain to show later to Dumbledore.

He brought too much trouble to be left alive and Alan wasn't an all-loving saint to talk shit and educate such a person. Still, before making a move he needs to ensure the legitimacy of it. For most part he always stayed vigilant not to believe in books and movies too much. After all he already saw that this world is more complex than it looks on the surface.

But his plan was first to achieve the Permission, as it will give him a serious boost to magic power and knowledge. With the help of thorough Baptism Alan will step into different level of magic arts and will be prepared to face his enemies. He didn't see a need to find comrades or organize some gang or business, as he just needed to influence this world in subtle way and not take the role of pioneer, as they have already have a bunch of them ready for the job.

However the thought of little team crossed his mind not once or twice and he finally decided to do it. But he won't create it from some kids he learns magic with in school. They are talented, that's a given, but how long will it take to wait for their maturity? And it's not even about magic power, but character and even study of basic occlumency that will be needed for the job.

No, he had a perfect targets to train into the best warmongers of magic world there were, are and will be – Verga Team.

If he can pass them some Isu magic he will invent, and make them learn the magical language with special breathing method, he will really create a little team of mages who can remove any threat from the world. And what is more – they are basically the only people he trusted. So he decided to talk about it with his aunt, as three uncles are constantly out of reach doing their stuff abroad and don't want to come back.

Or at least he thought it was so, until they really came back for some business that nearly got them all killed.

So what he was planning is to simplify things about all Voldy issue and not let them come to what happened in the book – all out war. And after that he can comfortably study more magic and explore the world, maybe coming back to kick some asses if needed be from time to time.

However he had a couple of targets he needs to bring down for sure. And he will see to it to remove them from bigger picture.

As for the most vital event in his first year in Hogwarts, it happened when he least expected. The point is Alan never forgot to search for a shard of Eye of Eternium, but throughout the whole year never succeeded.

Who would have though that the part he needed was a very well known place in Hogwarts? This day was in late spring, in a week he will be going back to London for a summer vacation which he actually planned to spend on studying. He had a thought to visit Fleur, but never had a chance to ask whether he can or not and the girl herself never invited him.

Just as he was drifting around in questions, he found that he is very hungry and everything was already closed. Right at that moment he felt strong attraction from Eternium behind the door to his left.

He walked closer and only managed to press the door knob when light burst out and he find himself inside a big, striking white room.

"So you found it. A spacial place, a shard of Eye of Eternium representing it's inner space. The Room of Requirement. Now it is merged where it belongs and is under your control and we can start training and learning. But you need to know, time here flows differently and because of that you will need a strict regulations of how long can be spent here per day. It is twelve hours a day."

"Twelve? Will I have the time?" - Alan looked perplexed.

"You will. It is three seconds outside after all." - that made a youth in tender age of twelve has zero reaction.

"Okay, awesome..." - said Alan with a face full of 'I kind of expected this', never the less being very happy. - "but can I eat now?"

It is a good thing Amalgal is a spirit, because if he weren't he would become one due to heart attack. Old guy blew his beard all over the place in exasperation. But he didn't know that Alan in his previous life supposedly read too many stories of all kind and many heroes in them had this so called time cheat.

It is not like he wasn't happy, he was, very, but not shocked.

Still he never expected that part of the Eternium Eye will be Room of Requirement itself. However that explained where it came from, after all Alan had always wondered who could have created such a place. To be more precise how powerful and knowledgeable said person must be.

After all no matter where you look, no wizard of current era could have managed the feat.

"So it was created by your race, gramps Amal." - murmured Alan and tried to remember any other such things that far exceeded possibilities of humanity and while doing so, entered Room of Requirement and asked if he can have a meal here, making old spirit upset.

"What a waste of resources!" - he cried. - "You can, if you supplement either the ingredients or substantial amount of mana. Inner space of the ring can let you cook, but can't create something out of nothing."

One will expect ambitious thoughts of world domination, training non-stop and not wasting even a second, but here we are having a youth who is like a pig with golden ingot, not knowing how to cherish the opportunity.

It was not like Alan didn't cherish it, but he was really starving.

"Actually there are quite a few I read about during captivity. I never though about these mysteries deeply, but looks like a have a lot of traveling to do in near future and many secrets to explore. Gramps, actually this room is very helpful. During this year no matter what I do I have converted into Isu system of magic only Accio spell, with this room I will be able to do much more."

"Indeed. It is a shame Sky Forge, Book of Arcane and Crystal of Infinity are missing. Otherwise you can learn Isu magic directly."

"Are they another parts? Is there more?" - asked Alan while starting his meal.

"Yes. And yes."

"Old man, you can't be any more laconic." - grumbled Alan stuffing himself with steak from dragons meat and fruit beer. - "Ah, I'm among the living after all."

But than he noticed something weird. His body began to heat up. However this process didn't bring any discomfort only slight subconscious panic, like after glucose injection.

"Don't panic. It is a good thing. Do you think eating dragons meat will do nothing for you?"

"In all truth yeah, I actually thought that way. I mean, isn't it unscientific for food to have such results?" - Alan looked at the meat that couldn't be any more plain visually and marveled at it effects.

"You young dork! Do you think dragons meat is just your everyday street stall snack?" - gramps Amal again went ballistic. So much for self proclaimed godhood. No decorum at all. But Alan liked that kind of old man more. He felt more alive. Felt more than AI he was. - "Use breathing method I taught you and you will find interesting results."

Results were really something. His body became a bit stronger and more fit. Albeit the difference was small, but if eaten regularly he really can have one hell of a body in all aspects.

"Once per week, not more. And that is about any meat of magic beasts."

"Is there something wrong with it?"

"Nothing, simply too nutritious and contains impure magic source. You need time to digest it and properly purify. Also you will need at least two hours of physical training from now on every day if you want to eat it."

"Fine with me. Somehow I feel that the stronger the body, the more magic I can contain."

"More like channel, but whatever." - said Amalgal and disappeared in cloud of golden mist.

"Channel..." - Alan committed that remark to memory like everything else. Somehow it felt vital, but for now he lack understanding to figure out why.

'And now I can finally create an arsenal of my own.' - Alan thought while rubbing his hands.

Suddenly, even Amalgal sensed a foreboding feeling of approaching crisis.

Okay, soon some serious action will start. It was a bit boring to write about his school days actually, but it is mostly done.
