บท 121: You Are My Sunshine
Monday came and KM has a date at night with Fitz, the farm guy.
At exactly 6p.m. Fitz was already in KM's doorsteps with a surprise. He was bringing with him a bouquet of flowers and an old standard guitar. And before KM could open the door for him, Fitz began strumming his guitar and serenaded her. He began to sing the song "You are my Sunshine"...
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy, when things are gray...
You never know this how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away...
'Wow, he sings it good. And he's so romantic!' KM thought, at the same time opened the door for him with a great smile.
"Did you really mean that I am your sunshine and I make you happy? We haven't started our date yet, how did I make you happy then?" KM bombarded Fitz her questions.
"Yes, just even the mere sight of you makes me happy already. Flowers for the beautiful woman as you, KM." Fitz with all the smiles gave the bouquet of flowers to KM.
"Ah, you love me for my beauty. But what if I'm already grey and old, will you still love me then?" KM tested him.
"Of course, I will still love you. For I love you for your whole being even if you will grow old and grey. I knew I loved you before I even met you." Fitz assured her.
She was wearing an off shoulder and above the knee yellow dress that accentuate her skin and beautiful face and body. Her long blond straight and shiny hair is freely flowing below her shoulders. She was wearing a dangling golden flower designed earings, a thin strand golden bangles, a heart shaped pendant hanged in a gold necklace and two inches golden heels. Her eye shadows has a tint of gold too. Overall, she looks goldenly beautiful!
"Thank you," KM smiled while accepting the bouquet of flowers from him, still smiling. She held his right arm with her left arm while on her right hand held the bouquet of flowers.
Fitz was wearing black pants paired with blue polo shirt and black shoes. On his left hand he was holding the old guitar and on his right arm was KM's left arm anchored to his. He was really a ruggedly handsome.
The pair looked good together, a ruggedly handsome and a goddess of beauty. They went to a Blue Bugatti parked nearby which was owned by Fitz himself and he opened the car door for her to seat on the passenger seat. After putting flowers and his guitar on the backseat, and securing her seatbelt, he closed the door and went in to the driver's seat, and secured himself at the driver's seat with his seat belt. He turned the ignition on and stepped the accelerator and drived. A black lemo filled with KM's bodyguards have followed and tailed them.
"You owned this Bugatti car?" KM queried.
"Yes, I just bought it recently before coming here to you." Fitz smiled.
"You must have a lot of money to be able to buy this, huh?" KM continued.
"Hmm, I got some savings, but not that much though," replied Fitz while smilingly glanced and winked at her.
"Oh, you're so humble." KM responded his smile with a smile too.
"What kind of food would you like to eat, so I would know which restaurant should we go to?" Fitz inquired.
"Oh I like Belgian foods but since my mom was a Chinese-Filipino origin, I would prefer a Chinese-Filipino cuisine restaurants."
"Hmm, there's a chinese restaurant nearby here. We will go there then." Fitz replied.
"You're familiar here?" KM was astonished.
"I googled map and familiarized this place this morning, doing my test drive at the same time."
"Oh I see." KM's jaw slightly dropped in astonishment.
"We're here." Fitz drived slowly and then parked his car at the parking lot of the chinese restaurant. He then quickly unbuckled his seatbelt and then unbuckled KM's seatbelt too and proceeded to went out of the car with the intention of opening the car for KM, but before he could do it, KM already opened the door and went out of the car herself. For she doesn't want to be served nor to be treated like a princess that way.
"You should have waited for me to open the door for you." Fitz sighed in dismay.
"Oh, in as much as you want to be a gentleman, I don't really like the formalities of being served like a princess. I'd prefer to be just doing it myself for I am capable to do so." KM immediately anchored her left arm to his right arm.
"Even so, for this evening, allow me to treat you like one, okay?" Fitz insisted, looked at her side and then winked at her.
"Okay then." KM agreed.
They then walked together and entered the chinese restaurant.
"Ni hao! Welcome to our restaurant. A table for two sir and ma'am?" a server greeted them with a slight bow.
"Yes please." Fitz replied.
