If Maddox weren't in a drunken state, he would've been more vigilant and cast [Fire Shield] spell in time to block the arrow.

Unfortunately, he failed to notice it.

By the time he saw the arrow, it already arrived near his right side neck.

Then, it directly tore through his neck while slicing the internal carotid arteries and appeared on the other side!

With a shocked face, he clutched the wounded neck and tried to open his mouth but couldn't!

Crimson blood dripped down from his neck, painted his shirt and pants.

Meanwhile, his body staggered for a moment and soon fell on the dirt road.

He gasped for a few seconds and soon went motionless.

At that moment, a thief-looking man watched the falling Maddox from afar and soon sucked in a cold breath.

Shock and alarm appeared on his face.

He was one of Percy's men who tailed Maddox earlier!
