บท 109: Those Three days (1)

Early morning both Hayley and Aaron were at airport. Aaron was reluctant to let her go, he didn't know why but this trip of Hayley's to her hometown was giving him a unsettling feeling.

While taking her leave Aaron could sense that Hayley was in bad mood. But what Hayley told him at time of goodbye was something he didn't expect, she said "Listen Aaron, if in these three days I won't be able to answer your calls and messages, don't panic, just remember that I am safe and I'll come back, safe and sound."

Even after Hayley's departure these words were still ringing in Aaron's mind. What she meant by saying all of that to him. In upcoming two days he got to know why Hayley said that to him. In two days she didn't connected him or anyone. She just dropped him a message once when she reached her house. Although Keith talked to Hayley's mother and got to know that she was fine but still Aaron's mind was not at ease.

Before he knew it on third day afternoon he was standing outside Hayley's hometown airport hiring a taxi to reach Hayley's house. Once he reached at Hayley's house then the panic set in. He was so worried about Hayley that he didn't even thought that what will he tell her mother. He was meeting her for the first time, that too in not so formal way.

By the time he rang the doorbell he was gone into panic mode but once he saw Hayley's mother Katherine's face he felt like all his worries gone and new worries took place as he saw Katherine's worn out face.

After seeing Aaron at door step it seems liked Kathrine was trying to recall who he was and seeing her condition Aaron cleared his throat and was about to introduce himself when Katherine suddenly said "You are Aaron right? Keith's friend?"

So she knew him when this thought finally registered in his mind he finally nodded. Katherine stepped aside and welcomes him in.

She told him to sit in living room and brings out some tea and refreshments for him. "Thank god you are here, please talk to this girl. Every year she goes into this state around her father's death anniversary." So it was her father's death anniversary thought Aaron.

"You know she always behave like this around these days and I was always so worried about it. But this time I thought things will be different with you guys around, but I was wrong" she sighs various times while saying this. Aaron could sense how sad Katherine was feeling but he didn't know what to say to her.

After a while he got to know that Hayley was in the graveyard sitting near her father's grave. Katherine could see how restless this guy was to meet her daughter so she told him to go there. Katherine started to like this quite and innocent guy and she could sense this guy likes her daughter. If her daughter likes him too then she will be way to happy to give her approval to this union. While she was staying at Keith's place she got to know about all his friends and their powerful background. It's needless to say that she was worried about her daughter, but after seeing Sarah, Ginny and Keith's bonding with Hayley and getting to know about her bond with Keith's other friends she felt happy. At last her daughter might get what she deserves in her life.
