[April '20] This story follows the path Jun takes after having his village destroyed by gods, and having one of them use him as a vessel. Surely he can't be the only being on the planet with this newfound power. He must venture now to save hidden celestial beings from an entrapment, and fix what went wrong. This story is in the present-tense. These things are meant to be happening to you in the moment - all of you - even though it’s based some time ago. There is a blend of the English and American language. Any “misspellings” of the grammatical differences are intentional, and my own preference. As long as you know what I mean, this story hasn’t been lost to the ages. This writing was originally meant to be a game. One that you can play. So a lot of what is here relies heavily on visuals, which is a bit of a problem. I hope your imagination is flexible. I have sprinkled this pseudo-gameplay with hints of its future, and references of our World. It would be interesting to see what you can find! Many species are humanoid. In a pitiful show of weakness, Farron fails to lead the others away and is forced to watch as the scions of The Great Leviathan kill the person he built his new life around and who built her life around him. Blaming his failure, The Great Leviathan, and Life, he tacitly vowed that he would destroy Babylon, ruled by The Great Leviathan, and he would remake himself into whatever he had to in order to do it. He would destroy himself to get at Babylon and kill Life. With time, simultaneously Apollonian and Dionysian forces would come to exist within him, each being, respectively, a cold, calculating, methodical expression of vengeance and an ecstatic, burning, emotional expression. The metaphorical Apollo, the Greek god of the sun, truth, light, and logic would take hold of his mind and dictate his path. The metaphorical Dionysus, the Greek god of wine, emotion, ecstasy, and madness would take hold of his body and dictate his actions. The mothers were payed good money and went back to their daily lives. Eventually, ethics committees came to the agreement that this was less than ethical, ruling all child breeding camps illegal. However, this was not near enough to stop the greed of the governments, who instead began to pay mothers at hospitals to give their babies over. While slower, the amount of super-powered individuals significantly increased. Now, fifty years later, almost every major country in the world has a special military division dedicated to children born with powers. Members of the military are even old enough to have kids, which is heavily encouraged by the government. That's exactly where my problems began. -
