Pyrite Serpentine, an avid fan of monster taming games woke up in a room that he did not recognise. There was nobody else in it, but there were six strange creatures sitting on the floor beside the bed. He recognised these monsters as Digimon which were in the in-training stage. He found this strange, but approached the Digimon which began to follow him around. Unlike in the games and anime, they did not talk but did seem to understand what Pyrite was saying. Despite being very confused, he went down the stairs connected to the room and out of the downstairs area to find that he was in Striaton City which meant he was in the Pokemon world, and more specifically, he was in Unova. -

Fortunately, his luck shone brightly as he discovered a Devil Fruit shortly after his arrival in this world. From his profile of consuming a triangular object just because it looked edible, the child obviously ate the Devil Fruit directly giving him the ability to make and control feathers. —— A slow-paced (not just) One Piece fanfiction written by a One Piece fan. May contain a plot hole because One Piece is complicated. Planning to mix a few universes that don't greatly change the Japan of that world. Most of the characters used in this fanfic belong to the original work. As such this is purely fanfiction made for fun as I enjoy the original work, please support the original work's author if you are capable of doing so. 'Volume 0' features Few short stories that follow Grid in the distant future and in an alternate universe of the 'Overgeared' novel world(as of chapter 1368) before arriving at the main arc of the fanfic, 'Crossroad of the Past and Future' which is what 'Volume 1' consists of. 'Crossroad of the past and future' is (so far) the biggest fanfic arc that I wrote for Overgeared. Although it might be severely lacking compared to the actual novel, it does include some theories, suppositions, and head-canon. It might certainly go against the recent chapters of the novel as I would have no way of knowing what's going through the author's mind right now. On another note, I decided to take another approach towards the problems, where Grid actually struggles and faces major consequences behind his actions as he struggles even more to fix his mistakes. I hope you'll enjoy it, don't hesitate to discuss or point out points that took your interest. 'Volume 2', Requiem for a sky, is the Finale and sequel to ''Crossroad of the past and future'', It will probably be shorter than the main arc(Volume 1) and I will complete it at a slower pace to try to give it a satisfying End. 'Volume 3' contains some origin stories that I came up with for the characters of the novels(mainly characters of the past era), it's not required to understand volume 1 in any way, but I thought it would be nice to add some background and origins to parts that were not mentioned yet in the official novel. -
