At the beginning, he is really a slave (that's the title of the novel xD), finally he manages to get out of it, even if it takes a long time, nevertheless the character evolves a lot, after all we start from a "rat of the slums", to become one of the 6 strongest people in the world. Nephis? At the beginning, she is a little empty, but this is explained several times that she has difficulty showing her feelings, this improves later. The other characters also have good development. For the moment I'm just looking forward to the sequel, especially since it's starting to be very, very interesting.
