Ah, thanks for the explanation.
Though in despair, seeing nothing more can be done, he runs out of the house and as he does, he picks both his sons up and shields them as the house explodes behind them, and all John can do is look back in horror, despair and rage at the now former home and unknown to him, his former peaceful life...

I believe that is how it's interpreted in the story otherwise it wouldn't have been able to cut Gojo's infinity's existence.
Itadori just imagined this, and now he had an incredibly powerful technique in his hands.

He is too moral. it's been shown. Even if his life's ruined, killing them isn't really the most likely scenario.
Despite their outward show of unity, both Homelander and Maeve were struggling with their own demons. Homelander felt trapped by his need to maintain his fake persona, while Maeve was consumed by guilt at taking credit for another hero's work.

Well, since Sukuna can heal his soul I.e. keep it in the shape its supposed to be and the soul affects the body, I'd reckon that healing would be far easier if he wasn't being hit on the soul level so Gojo's damage would've been minimal. This is though If we take Mahito's statements to their logical conclusion.
'Huh? That voice sounds awfully familiar, if I really became Fushiguro Megumi after Truck-kun killed me then that must be Gojo! Shit I have to go according to what I can remember with canon or it might sound off or make Gojo or Tsumiki suspicious, thank god I reread the manga so many times. I think it was…' Jack, now Megumi, turned around and spoke back to the voice he heard behind him.

Sorry for your loss.
I could honestly see Sukuna liking itadori as a vessel a lot more than in canon. Maybe even get greedy for him and try to find a way to win it over rather than flee.
"Does it really matter? Just don't go poking the wall." I tell him, dodging his question.

Thank you very much for the ideas, I'll think about them.
So, I'm thinking about going deeper into mythological side of things, with more depth in creatures than only what we got, with also my own storylines. I may just write a few lines about them having done a certain case they did in canon and that be that, you can assume that for the most part it was just the same.
