Capítulo 28: The Storm has Come (1)
In a dark room with only a dim light.
"Father, I find a way to lure him out. Give me a few more days and I'll make it happened" A man in a blue robe said while bowing respectfully to the middle-aged man in front of him.
"Good, I'll trust you this time. Remember don't do anything too far such as killing or torturing people and get caught by that Zed, In here we don't hold much power especially that Zed is favored by the Lovlarix" Warned the middle-aged man
After saying that the middle-aged man continues, "If you got caught, don't expect me to help you".

The next day.
Cathleen and Fabiola are strolling around the town after finishing their early training by recording it with Record Stone, Today they wanted to practice their magic on a specialized place made to sustain damages it is called "Power Chamber".
They naturally cannot train in the mansion lest they want to destroy it.
The specialized place is only available in the Taztarus Kingdom because they need high-rank mages to make it.
As they walk through the kingdom streets they saw a familiar figure near the entrance to the Power Chamber, It is Claus.
"Claus! are you here to train too? What a coincidence" said Cathleen happily.
'Hmm? Him again? we run to each other frequently lately, probably just a coincidence' Fabiola thought.
"Hey guys, Yeah I just learned a skill so I'm trying it out. Let's get in together then" said Claus cheerfully.
The Power Chamber consists of many big doors leading to an open field where one can use their skills all they want for a certain time, These doors have different colors on it that divide the door based on the user rank. To use the Power Chamber the customers needed to pay for each hour and tell their current rank.
Fabiola just learned to use her new skill Water Spike Flux, so she wanted to try it while Cathleen is a light mage where she wanted to test his healing skills on injured people who often fight here.
As they are practicing.
"Oh water dragon god lend me the power of water to pierce my enemy, Water Spike Flux!!"
The ground rumble, A dozen spike of water stab out of the ground reaching three meters long as their maximum height with a splash.
"That's a powerful Peak Elementary water skill Fabiola, I'm impressed just by how much water frevor you can accumulate it even rivals hardened skills" praise Claus.
"Thanks, I'm surprised too with just how much I can gather water frevor in that attack" replied Fabiola amazed by her own feat.
Meanwhile, Today Zed will need to meet the commander of the Infantry section.
Early morning, he rides a traveling horse to go to the Infantry section. Arriving there, the vibes here are way different from the artillery section.
In the artillery section, all soldiers after training will practice their aim while in the infantry section the soldiers are wrestling each other to hone their close-quarter combat skills it even gets bloody most of the time.
In the middle of the training soldiers, there is a big man. He looks forty, he has a long sword wound on his arms, a sharp and cold look covered his face making him looks like a war veteran.
'That's the commander I suppose' Zed thought.
As Zed gets closer he's eyes went rounder, The commander is bigger than him.
As long as Zed lives his life, He never encountered someone bigger than him. This is the first time he saw someone bigger than him, not just bigger but way bigger making the commander look like a humanoid beast.
The commander glance at Zed, He walks to Zed then out of nowhere he throws a punch at Zed.
Zed raises his two hands to block it.
BAM!
The collision sent Zed pushed five meters back, That punch made Zed's hand goes numb. 'Does all the commander like to test recruits this way?' Zed thought.
"Impressive, a knight rank withstanding ten percent of my attack I like it," Said the commander with a wide grin on his face.
Then the commander continues"I am the commander of the infantry section, Nicholas O' Keefry. Leonardo said that you are quite compatible with the artillery section with that spear-throwing of yours, but I think you have more potential in the Infantry section" Nicholas' voice is heavy like a baritone, making Zed's heart vibrate.
The day continues as Nicholas explained the Infantry section.
The infantry section is divided into two departments, Shield Wielder which will act as a protector and Attacker which consists of warrior fighters trained to kill.
Just as Nicholas' finished explaining and want to dismiss Zed he said, "Oh Zed, Take your weapon with you tomorrow I want to take a look at it and make you a new one".
Zed remembers that he forgot to bring his magic pouch so he needs to get it tomorrow in his mansion, after nodding to Nicholas he left.
"Abraham, Suriel!" Nicholas called out.
Not long, two figures run to Nicholas.
"You two starting today will keep a look at Zed, Help him if he's in trouble and don't get caught by the enemies" ordered Nicholas.
Nicholas is not a fool, a rising youth with a background of Eplodon City will naturally be in trouble when the big city found out. Especially by the event that happened in the recruitment process.
The tiring day passed and the golden sun risen signing a new day has come.
Early in the morning, two girls are seen at a mansion sweating all over with a stone in front of them.
"Huh, I'm really tired. Fabiola, can you go accompany Claus instead of me to the Central Shop? I promised him but I'm so tired...please" asked Cathleen.
"No..I'm tired too" Replied Fabiola with an exhausted look.
"Just do this one favor for me please, while you're at it buy a Refreshing Pill I really need it" begged Cathleen.
Fabiola helplessly agreed, She changes her clothes and left to meet with Claus in the Central Shop.
After walking for ten minutes she meets with Claus in front of the central shop, The central shop is as always located in the middle section of the Kingdom near the palace.
Meanwhile, Zed has already finished his workout and heading home to take his weapon to be examined by Nicholas.
He walks rather fast remembering the punishment given by Leonardo who is the commander of the artillery but now he is facing a beast in human form, Nicholas. If he's late he didn't want to even think about the punishment given by that man.
As he jogged through the city streets, he saw Fabiola walking with a man.
'Who in the god's name is that?' He thought.
Fabiola is not awkward anymore when she's talking with Claus, She feels that he is one of her friends.
As they talk and walk to the Central Shop a loud voice was heard calling out her name, "Fabiola!!".
She looked to her back and saw Zed striding with big steps toward her.
"What are you doing here? Are you slacking in training? And Who is this guy?" Zed gives Fabiola a barrage of questions.
Fabiola is surprised "Zed?!, I'm just doing a favor for Cathleen by accompanying Claus to the Central Shop," Fabiola said with a bumble voice.
"Why didn't you tell me? Go home now" Zed said with a tone that doesn't want to be rebutted.
Zed give Claus a cold look and take Fabiola home.
Claus grin sinisterly, "Just you wait Zed, soon enough you will cease to exist. Actually, It's not a bad thing to be found out by him, it just hastens the plan ".
Arriving at the mansion.
"Fabiola, what're you doing? I just left you for a few days and you are like this?" Zed said with an angry tone.
"Zed let me explain As I told you before I.."
Just before Fabiola finishes her sentences Zed rebutted, "I don't want to hear it, just don't do it again you have to tell me next time" After saying that Zed takes his Spear and Shield from his magic pouch in his bedroom and left.
Fabiola is stressing out and felt awful, 'It's my fault anyway that I didn't tell him'.
The sky is covered by a black blanket of stars. The night sky brings tranquility to all but one.
Fabiola is thinking about how to make up with Zed When suddenly she hears a sobbing and a ringing sound.
She opens the mansion door and looks to the gate.
There, outside the gate, Fabiola saw Claus crying. Tears flow down from his eyes endlessly, Looking at him Fabiola decided to open the gate.
"What happened Claus? Why are you crying?" asked Fabiola worried.
"Can I come inside to talk for a while? I need someone to talk to".
Fabiola let him in the mansion.
After Claus sit down, Fabiola brings out tea for Claus.
After drinking the tea, Claus wipes his tears and finally speaks, "I can't take it anymore, My parents hate me because I'm not as good as my big sister. I tried my best to be better but I just can't catch up to my sister, Sorry for bothering you at this hour but I just need someone to talk to".
Hearing Claus' story Fabiola remembered that Zed has the same type of problem as Claus, because of that he felt pity for Claus because not everyone can take it like Zed.
Claus gets closer to Fabiola and lies his head on Fabiola's shoulder.
Fabiola let him and stroke his head lightly, "It's okay that's just how life is you just need to do your best, as far as I know, you are one of the best men I ever know"
Claus feeling his head stroked by Fabiola grin eerily but quickly turn into a sweet bright smile.
Unknown to Fabiola, Cathleen is recording them from her bed with a Record Stone.
