Capítulo 6: First Quest
Everyone is expectant of the fight between Aras Idredalf, the High Savanna Number one Mage. He is nineteen years old Almost stepping into Senior Mage Rank and the rising weakest warrior class fighter of High Savanna.
" I do not have any grudges with you get out of the way" Zed said ignoring the rampaging aura leaking out of Aras that ready to burst in a moment notice.
" No grudges? then let's make one today" In a flash, Aras Idredalf sent a gushing tornado with a simple chant toward Zed, " O God of wind helps me to slice through my enemies, Wind Blade"
Zed instantly put on guard due to how fast the spell move. Having no time to think, Zed raises his hand by crossing his hand in front of his chest to block the attack. When the wind blade makes contact with his arm, the wind blade tries to slice through Zed's hand but eventually blocked leaving a deep wound on his hand.
Lifting his head, Zed sees that Aras have a wind gushing out of his leg while looking at him with a sadistic look on his face.
The gushing wind increases Aras' speed by twofold, making him look like a blur in normal people's eyes.
"What the heck! you can use elemental frevor like that?"
"that's a genius for you, what an innovation, making elemental frevor to help him boost his speed not only for attacking and defending"
The crowd praises the skill Aras used, simply because nobody until now thinks like that, this Aras Idredalf is truly a genius in a hundred years.
Aras vanish on the spot and reappear behind Zed and use wind ball at point-blank range "oh wind elemental, come forth in a form of a ball, Wind ball". Surprised by the sudden increase in speed, Zed tries to tilt his body to dodge the wind ball, but still grazed by it a little. Aras looking at this was surprised, 'What an astonishing Reflex' he muttered in his head
Feeling his adrenaline rushing, Zed's eye glowed blue a little. As soon as this happened, Zed feels he can see the world clearer and brighter.
Looking toward Aras, Zed can see Aras' Mage Essence inside his head and also Aras' beating heart with a blue color on his eyes.
Refocusing back to the fight, Aras uses his super-speed to aim Zed's leg to make him have more advantage. But almost simultaneously Zed lowers his body to meet Aras' attack. Too late to try and stop, Aras decided to charge through with all he has to slam his body to Zed with a windshield defending his body.
The sound of two fighter colliding caused a dull thud. Dust went off blocking everyone's vision.
Aras feels dizzy from the collision, his mage essence is exhausted.
He tried to stabilize himself and look at his enemy, hoping that Zed is not in a better condition or even worse.
When the dust clears off, Aras cannot help but shiver. A pair of blue eyes looking at Aras while brushing the dust off his body.
It was a foolish move of the hundred-year genius to try and fight head-on with a knight who assimilates with strength frevor and also with the awakening of the draugar bloodline Zed is much stronger than average knight rank who assimilated with strength frevor.
Just as zed finish brushing his dust off, he instantly dashes forward with a bloodthirst look intending to kill Aras. Aras panicked "I SURRENDER, I SURRENDER!" looking at the still charging Zed, he began to despair.
Just when zed about to hit Aras, his fist is caught by a hand and his fist stopped and cannot be pulled back. The man who caught his fist is a middle-aged man clad in silver armor.
This man is none other than the school principal of warrior class, Roman Elenor who is in noble knight rank assimilated with strength, wisdom, and agility frevor, an experienced fighter who is in noble knight rank for 10 years with vast battle experience.
Ropan flicked Zed's fist away and said "What are you doing? it is prohibited to kill someone in a sparing battle" while signaling for Aras to get out of here.
Zed's blue eyes dimmed and soon he snapped out of it. Everyone is too focused on the event so they don't realize that Zed's eye glows blue, but it did not escape the Principal's eye. "You achieve a breakthrough, go report your breakthrough to the Warrior class ranking and get out of my sight!"
"Yes, Sir" Replied Zed while excusing himself to go to the Warrior Class Building.
After he reports his breakthrough, he got up from the lowest rank in the warrior class to the highest rank of the warrior class which makes many people shocked by the sudden rise of the city lord son.
Walking home and thinking about his blue eyes that caused him to almost kill someone, he decided to investigate this thing he happened to accept when he almost died.
Arriving at his home, he was greeted again by his father standing in front of the mansion waiting for him.
"So you achieved knight rank and decided to boast your strength at school and also not telling me anything?" while slowly looking more disappointed at his son.
"I didn't mean it like that father, I'm just..." before zed can finish his words, his father interrupts him "I don't wanna hear it, you are still a disappointment unlike my other friend's son who always boasts about their success first to their father" shaking his head, Duncan left, leaving Zed feeling guilty.
Arriving at his room, he contemplating what he has done today and the first thing he needed to do is to know what did he just accept before he dies.
Thinking it is some kind of sorcery, Zed tries to summon it by saying "Sorcery come out!", "Magic thingy", but all failed. When he's about to give up, a hologram appeared before him and the beautiful voice saying "To móno pou chreiázetai na peis odigó gia na me kaléseis"
When Zed heard the foreign language he said " I don't understand what you are saying" instantly after he said that, another hologram appeared before him.
"If you want to summon me just think Odigos* ", knowing how to summon this thing, Zed decided to try it by saying Odigos.
After he said that, a hologram appeared "Finishing the first quest is required to access"
Dumbfounded Zed started to curse " What the hell, you said to summon you by saying Odigos and when I said it, I cannot access it, are you playing with me?!"
Calming himself down while still cursing this Sorcery, he asked "So what is this first quest, show me my first quest" After saying that, another hologram appeared.
"Quest 1: Paidia** First Mission, Leave your family behind and travel alone without bringing anything including your clothes, Time required to finish the mission: 1460 days"
