Sinopse
The apocalypse was here, reaping billions of lives across the world. The details of its creation, whether by machine, man, or nature, were forgotten amid the chaos. Humanity never returned to what it was, instead evolving to withstand their new reality. The strongest of this harsh era began to consolidate their strength again, creating pockets of sprawling civilization amid the wastelands.
Only one civilization remained at the end of it all: a dense mound of urban sprawl known only as the City.
It was the last bastion of civilization, and it was a living hell.
...
In this world, a boy without memories found himself in an alleyway stained with rot. Unfamiliar sights and sensations assaulted him. Smoke stung his nose. The stench of blood crawled on his skin.
He saw his future ahead, a path of cunning and brutality:
Three expressionless porcelain masks.
An empty smile, glassy doll eyes.
Millions of eyes sewn into the night, dazzling galaxies.
So many stars lit the sky, blinding his view. These were the obstacles he had to surpass, to tear from their thrones.
And so began the Impurity's Ascension.

Escreva uma avaliaçãoIf you want a grimdark apocalyptic story then this is the best you'll read. It's got magic, it's got eldritch horrors, it's got far future technology. This should be picked up by a publishing company, it's that good. The characters are raw and emotional, the settng is enthralling, and the story is addictive! I cannot stop reading it!
Seems alright so far, but although its an interesting world it doesn't seem very fleshed out so far, you might want to explain the inner workings of his society more. ill just save this until you get more chaps :)
This author either loves writing or hates work/studying and I cannot tell which. You've got something great going here, but maybe try to focus more on the world than the characters. Fabulous so far, don't abandon this please!
The author has done brilliantly with the world they were given, showing the parts we wouldn't otherwise, showing the everyday life of normal people in the world of Project Moon's creation. The character of Asher is interesting and intricate as well as more realistic than many characters put in similar situations and the powers he uses are incredibly creative. All in all The author has been able to use what they were given and create so much more in an amazing way.
Revelar SpoilerSo interesting idea with fascinating plot. Love the way you started the story. It seemed much unqiue from other stories. Looking forward to get more and more.
I love this travel back in time plot, it reminds me of Mother of learning. But I confess that I can't help hopping to see the MC dies, I liked the interactions with the systems, it provides useful information and world background building. Looking forward for more chapters.
You legit added a chapter as i was reading it. i was pleasantly surprised to find that there was one more than twenty. 5/5 just dont drop it
Story: Great, good worldbuilding, nice concept Development: Good, MC actually loses sometimes, side characters have their own lives and personality. World Background: I'm pretty sure the concept of Fixers, Urban Myths, Urban Legends, Urban Plagues, the whole ranking system, and some of the factions are based off of Library of Ruina, a video game.
I feel like this is a good story detailing the life of a person living in The City and his struggles. Also implementing many elements from Library of Ruina or Lobotomy Corporation like the characters from the former and the abnormalities from the latter. Well done. Not perfect but well done.
after playing the 2 games from project moon, im really happy for finding a book about the same universe, even if you didnt played the game, you can still enjoy the story, really liked the characters and how the creator always adds something special for all of them, update of every 3 days is more than fine by how good it is, and that's it OBS: Im not a specialist, this is just my opinion, i can be really wrong(but i dont think i would be so wrong); 2- english isnt my first language, so sorry for killing your language;-;.
It's good. The City is a good setting. Even though this is pretty much an AU it's still coherent enough to get most of the elements that make it interesting in. The protagonist is a good character, though very notably not OP. It's not as bad a situation as in Re:zero, but even having a gamer system doesn't make him seem too powerful.
The story and writing is great. It's just that the justice seeking MC that saves everyone and trys to fix things is not my cup of tea. I like MC who rather think about their own survival and power up, like fang yuan from Reverend insanity.
I love this novel! Not your usual system trope novel where the MC is already OP because of a freaking system. Sure, he had a TimeTrack what you called and he used that in his first life? Sealing the memories is quite good because we can see how he can survive without his memories of the future. I haven't read that much but I'll be putting this on my lib to read it further. Keep up the work, author! ^_^
Revelar SpoilerThe story's pace is quite good and has a solid foundation. Although MC will be reborn as a naive kid without any memory, he learns and matures quickly. But unlike others stories, this one is a little bit dark and shows the cruelty of the world. If you are not into such a dark story, this isn't your cup of tea. All in all, this one is an excellent original novel and has the qualification to be in the top 50. Good Luck, author. Keep writing.
Revelar SpoilerThis one is one of the more amazing stories I've read on this site. Every single setting the author uses, they don't forget it, and develop it to it's full potential. At some points in chapters, there are parts that literally feel like a poem, just dancing around and radiating emotion. Tastes like cherry tart- slightly bitter with lemon peel at the start, but later becomes sweet and savoury. Simple ingredients, magnificent taste.
A great alternate universe based on the world created by project moon as a base. Attempting to expand on aspects yet unseen in games while still managing to connect to the first game's main aspect via the punishment missions.
The impurity's ascension Set in the world of Library of Ruina this story features many of its characters, powers and lore. The main protagonist is brought back from the dead and sent back in time with a technology called TimeTrack™ after the head sent a beholder a claw and an Arbiter to kill him as he was deemed an Impurity of the city and... Ok heres the thing, while not much of a problem in the later chapters due to the fact that this is an AU there are many names, titles, powers and just general slang that is completly foreign to a reader that never played any of the games. Plus the fact that the Authors ability to describe the many characters in this world is a bit lacking. It definitely can be a problem for a normal reader to picture them in his head. But! If you can see past these problems a solid piece of story will await you. It is quite apparent that the author has a lot of passion for it and not a single one of the chapters i read (at least in my opinion) did not consist of meaningless fuller. The characters are nicely done even if they differ from the original ones. It has its share of drama and suspense acompanied with some okay fight scenes. Its most powerfull aspect (as well LoRs) is its wonderfull worldbuilding, you will meet many different groups, cults and interesting people in here. All in all i would definitely recommend it.
Great read absolutely loving it so far, keep up the good work! If there was one thing I had to criticize it's the fact that we know from chapter one that the mc doesn't really go back in time, he just hops to a new timeline. it is not made clear if he understands this since he acts reckless and glosses over what happens after he dies at times but he also sometimes acts as if he understands this and want to protect the people he cares about even after he is dead. either way it's a small nitpick in an otherwise excellent story!
Autor Tiphereth
An isekai with death leading to brutal penalties followed by a "re-load" back in time. Heavy focus on gore: if that's your thing, you'll find enjoyment here. After the first chapter, the writing quality picks up. Chapter one was hard to follow as the dialogue isn't tagged, there are too many unknown characters, and the scene has no context. However, once the second chapter hits, the scenes have flow, and the characters have both motivations and context. As of chapter seven, there doesn't seem to be a clear "main goal" beyond "complete quests to level up, and level up to complete quests." However, there are indications of larger powers at play.
