Sinopse
Fifty years ago, the Ghost Star appeared, bringing with it the otherworldly online game Destiny's Calling. Humanity could enter the Ghost Star through 5 login gates scattered across the Earth, exploring ultimate professions and transcending the mundane to the divine.
However, the Ghost Star also brought the advent of the Beast Gods and an apocalyptic catastrophe. Beast Gods rose, cities were destroyed, and humanity barely survived. On one side of the scale is evolution; on the other side is destruction. Can the speed of humanity's evolution surpass the pace of destruction?
The protagonist, Jiang Kai, bought defective destiny material at a low price and, through immense effort, became a non-combat profession: Gambler.
