My attack slammed into the Nomu's chest. The smell of burning rubber filled the air. My eyes went wide though as its fist was aimed at my head. I barely ducked as All Might began pummeling the creature. However the Nomu was barely defending itself now. It was missing its left arm.
So I had indeed hit the Nomu. I took a heavy breath, taking energy from my body was dangerous. Expelling energy costs way more than absorbing it. I felt someone grab me and I panicked for a second. Eijiro laughed, "Man! You did a number on that guy. You okay Shizen?"
Behind us I saw Katsuki and Shoto and the villains. The leader of the villains stomped at the ground. "This isn't right! This isn't right! They are cheating! How can he have that amount of power after fighting our henchmen?"
Eijiro mumbled, "Man that guy is nuts!"
I nodded along and clearly All Might agreed with us. He shouted at the villains, "This is no game! There are no extra lives! To harm the innocent is a truly vile crime, one you will pay dearly for!"
The villain laughed, "Even if Nomu is hurt he is still enough to kill you! Nomu has shock absorption, regeneration and raw power! He was made just to kill you!"
All Might's Smile grew, I could see him hold back a laugh. "Shock absorption? So that's what it is. Funny thing…" Eijiro had stopped his run. He had seen All Might's reaction too. All Might burst into laughter as his attacks grew faster and stronger. The impacts created small shock waves that created a breeze in the air. "Shock absorption is not an immunity to damage. I just have to have to hit enough to get past that absorption! HAHAHA! After all that is what it means to go Plus Ultra!"
I tapped Eijiro's shoulder, "Eijiro, I am out of energy. Get Katsuki or Shoto, both of them can generate fire to recharge myself. Even if I can't shoot any more beams of heat. I can still punch hard." Eijiro nodded and picked me up again. He began going towards Katsuki and Shoto. They were watching the fight waiting for a chance to jump in.
We made it to Shoto first and I called out to him. "Hey! Shoto! I need energy. Use your fire on me so I can absorb it and recover."
His eyes widened slightly, "but… I-I don't use my fire."
I scoffed, "So fucking what? You have fire and I can still punch harder than you." Shoto had a look of dread, but looked back to the fight. "All Might is winning, but he is breathing hard. Getting you up again would be for the best." His hand began to generate waves of fire and just as fast as they began to grow. I siphoned them off and I felt better.
A second later I stood on my own two feet. Eijiro smirked, "Well, you look less pale now at least."
Katsuki shouted, "HEY YOU IDIOTS, MOVE!"
A portal opened before us and a hand reached through it. Eijiro blocked it with his arm, but even with his quirk his arm seemed to crumble. He yelped, "Oh shit!"
I Slammed a fist into the villains, sending him back. Shoto froze Ejiro quickly into place so he wasn't pulled along with the villain. All Might jumped, "Kids! Are yo-" A punch from the Nomu came through a portal. However a second later I heard a gunshot from far away. A second and a third followed.
At first the Nomu screamed, it was also the first sound it made. Its eye was red and bloody. While the other villains were hit as well. I saw a wound in the shoulder of one while the mist-man looked unconcerned. The Mist-Man made a move to create some portals.
Shoto acted quickly though and froze the Nomu into place and tried to freeze the other two villains. Katsuki also tried to blast the two villains. Except the mist-like man opened a new portal next to his friend.
I heard him whisper, "Let's leave for now Shigaraki. We may not achieve the desired results, but this was only the first Nomu. The master is waiting."
Just before the portal closed a fourth shot hit the man named Shigaraki. I didn't see where it hit though. All Might was covered in a cloud of dust. Except he seemed smaller than normal. I could see it with Infrared. He looked like he was shrinking. A second later a wall of concrete appeared separated us.
"Students, we will handle the rest from here." The Nomu had stopped moving and Cementoss was looking down at All Might on the wall. Cementoss coughed, and a women's voice came from behind. "Tota Shizen, didn't you use up all your energy? Why don't you take a nap."
I blinked and a second later I felt sleepy. I shouldn't feel sleepy though. I was pretty sure I was immune… to… Midnight's.... Qui-"
I felt the cold concrete cradle me as I fell forward into it.
