Why did this novel get dropped but that fucking daddy something make it. WHY JUST WHY?! , This is such a good novel with actually interesting and unique premise and not just the same bull**** crappy clichés , I want this novel to be continued and just in case it isn't I'm on my way to learn to read Chinese.

Great story. Interesting new developments and a new theme. The main character is not perfect and never pretends to be perfect. The author intentionally writes the MC as flawed, scarred, and has a strange thought process sometimes. However, his inherent nature is understanding and gentle but finds expressing his feelings difficult. Summary: Flawed introvert discovers life of cheats.
It was going good and them he chose the harem route It's like first we got emotionally attached to the first lady Then he like a dense Japanese isekai protagonist didn't realize the weirdness of the situation and worst of all chose another female for the second dream That was like **** you ***** go to hell.

Legitimately one of, if not the best novels I’ve ever read. I have read up to chapter 428 (no more chapters have been released as of March so maybe it’s on hiatus?) and I’m amazed at how well written it is. There is a harem, yes, but it is completely different in that there is heavy progression in the relationship between him and the different partners. I don’t want to say too much, but if I didn’t know better, I would think this is a Romance/Drama tagged book. I highly recommend that you try out this book at least to chapter 30, as by then, you should be in love with the story. I hope this story continues, as otherwise I’ll feel that there’s a void in my chest. It’s that good.

I've fallen in love in the the antics and interaction between the mc and Luo Xiyun , it made me cry when the first dream was over and Xuoyin committed suicide because the MC woke up in real life and died in the dream. Honestly I would've given this 5 stars if it ended in Chapter 30 and I would prefer it that way but author didn't do so.It is a masterpiece really but the following chapters just made me disappointed. Harem? Really? Why didn't he/she(author) made the mc loyal? This is why I hate and love this novel. It was such a pity. But I don't discourage you to read this though. I would love it if you give it a try. It's so beautiful to rot and I would not like that. It's a little slow-paced and if you're not patient you will not understand why this is a hidden gem. The characters are so realistic , eerily realistic and you will think that this happened in real life.They're 3D and... Well I don't know, you would not understand if you don't read it and my sh*tty grammar only made me describe it this far. So yeah, good bye and happy reading. -NMF101

It is a really refreshing job, the subject matter I love and it even made me reflect on life, I incredibly cried. The story takes its time but if you can hold out until chapter 30 it will be worth it. I hope people vote because it is the first time that I fall in love with a novel in this way
The first 29 chapters are incredibly refreshing, the best that I’ve read in a very long time. They’re heartfelt, thorough, and put frankly, perfect. As a few others have said, if the novel had ended right there i would rate it a 10/5. It’s still a fantastic novel carrying on after the first dream, but i feel like it’s leaning towards a harem. This would ruin the novel in a heartbeat, if the author is reading this, please do not make a harem. The book has an infinite amount of potential; Xi Jiyun and Chen Xu have an infinite amount of potential. Their relationship is the sweetest I’ve seen in a long time. Please don’t mess it up. Now don’t get me wrong, this novel is worth reading. I read all of it in one sitting, and i bet most of y’all will too. It’s done extremely well and I don’t remember the last time I’ve fallen so deep in love with a novel. The ones i have fallen for so far have been Supreme Magus and Solo Leveling, so to put this up there with them is saying something. If the author focuses solely on one romantic relationship, and keeps the MC loyal, this will be a masterpiece. For example, at a critical point in their relationship Chen Xu could ask Xi Jiyun, “Did you ever love me?” ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) If you’re thinking about reading, don’t hesitate. This isn’t like your standard Chinese novel.😁
