I let out a deep sigh, feeling the weight of Souline's stare as she stood before me, her arms folded. With a quick glance towards Carlos, who seemed unaffected by the tension, I resigned to face the impending conversation. "I'll leave you two alone then," Carlos announced, effortlessly lifting me into my wheelchair before retreating. As the door clicked shut behind him, Souline wasted no time in pressing for a response.

"I just slept in his bed for one night, so what's the big deal?" I asked. "You had a problem with me and Kai having a sexual relationship, yet you were in Carlos's bed doing who knows what," she said. My arms crossed defensively as I tried to explain.
