Capítulo 100: Field of Flowers II

Lucian frowned, "What the hell?" He said softly as the tentacle wiggled in the air, "A tentacle?" 

Lucian could feel a bit of ether coming from this tentacle, which reminded him of what he felt from the octopus from before. He immediately deduced that it was related to the Cursed One that the octopus belonged to.

Something about this whole ordeal intrigued Lucian, like an invisible force attracting him to what he knew was danger. It was the allure of chaos, unbeknownst to Lucian and the others. Calamities occassionally attract each other when in the vicinity. When two Calamities come within each other's range, Chaos will ensue. While this is the case on most occasions, Lucian didn't feel this same allure when he met Astorias. And the answer to that is quite simple...

Astorias was simply too strong and Lucian's Calamity recognized that at that moment. It was simply not ready for the Death Knight, not right now.
