Capítulo 101: Field of Flowers III

"How many of these things are there?!" Apha exclaimed, "Is there a giant octopus underneath the field?" 

Michael exhaled some smoke from his mouth as he frowned, "That could be the case." he said

"Why do you keep smoking that damn pipe?!" Apha scowled

"Shut up." Michael said, "Shoot those things." 

As he said that, a nearby tentacle flung itself at them. In an instant, Apha drew her bow and nocked an arrow, firing it off quickly. The arrow flew right at the tentacle, piercing through and interrupting the attack. Blood flew everywhere as the tentacle went limp quite easily. 

"Huh." Apha said

More distant tentacles shot right at them, traversing dozens of meters to try and strike them. Apha nocked another arrow as two of them got near but they exploded with blood as gunshots were heard. She looked back up to see Brodin from atop the cliff, aiming his sniper down at them, smoke coming out of the barrel.
