Leandre meticulously combed through the room, his gaze sweeping across every inch of space in a desperate search for the Lavender box. He scrutinized the table, rummaged through drawers, and checked under the bed, but to no avail. Dustin and Knox exchanged glances, wondering what he was looking for.

"What are you searching for?" Knox asked. "Are you perhaps looking for your lost socks?" Knox's laughter echoed as he stretched his arms, the weight of a heavy meal sitting heavily on Knox's stomach.

"Cut down your jokes, Knox." Leandre snapped. "I placed a box inside the drawer, but now it's vanished," Panic flooded his veins, making his heart race. Turning to Knox, who had been present when he left to get his tests done, he asked, "Did you happen to see it?"
