After Leandre stormed out, Knox swung around to face Dustin. "Why didn't you stop him?" He demanded, but as he locked eyes with Dustin, he saw something strange. His eyes were bloodshot, and his face was twisted with anger. "Dustin, what's wrong with you?" Throughout the whole time he had been venting about Astraea's bitchy activities, Dustin had been strangely silent, which was unusual for him.

Dustin remained silent, his soulless eyes fixed on a point in the distance.

"Dustin?" Knox's voice was laced with concern as he reached out and shook his shoulder.

Dustin snapped out of his thoughts and turned to Knox. "I am heading to the academy. I have some urgent work." He declared, pushing himself up from his seat.
