The group walked through the academy's hallways, the atmosphere seemingly calm. Anna followed behind Elara, Nina, and Aria, who took up the rear.

The light conversation continued, but something about the three girls' behavior began to make Anna feel uneasy.

There was something in the way Elara and Nina exchanged glances, as if they were plotting something.

When they reached a dimly lit corridor, Elara stopped in front of a large wooden door adorned with golden details. Without hesitation, she turned the handle and pushed it open, revealing what lay beyond.

The cooler air and the smell of herbs and chemicals that wafted out hit Anna immediately. When she looked inside, her jaw dropped.

"Is this... the alchemy lab?"

Before she could fully process what was happening, her instincts screamed at her to run.
