Summer passed by in a flash, and before I knew it it was already time for me to go back to the island with Alicia school was starting in a little more than 2 weeks from now I promised Mammy to spend 14 days at home before starting school. Alicia and I spent the summer doing music with the buzz our songs were making I planned to release Alicia's album sooner than I anticipated all her songs were already recorded I was just waiting to come back from our trip before releasing it spending time with my Uncle and Lena has awakened something in us we like doing an activity that was a little bit extravagant so I propose an idea to Alicia what if we go to a different restaurant every day so that we can find our favorites one than after this we will go on a date every Friday night in one of these said restaurant, of course, my idea wasn't for the food it was just to spend quality time with Alicia as much as possible and avoid falling into a routine that could be heavy sometimes after a month and a half we had 6 restaurants we could say to have caught our stomach (giggles)
One of our favorites was Boucherie Union Square with French cuisine just thinking about it I was getting hungry we went there without high expectations since it wasn't a Michelin-rated restaurant but we were both surprised by how good the food was on the menu that day was (HORS D'OEUVRES RILLETTES AUX DEUX SAUMONS Duo of salmon and smoked salmon rillettes apple and fennel salad PLATS PRINCIPAUX ST JACQUES RÔTIES Roasted scallops, zucchini velours, gnocchis and arugula, old Comté shavings DESSERT CHARLOTTE Vanilla Malagasy mousse and pain de Gênes, cherry heart, vanilla cream) I tried to do it at home the day after our visit there but the taste wasn't quite the same
After trying more 'normal' restaurants we chose to try the famous Michelin restaurant I always thought that a restaurant having a Michelin star was a scam and that those places were overrated but I was proved wrong with the restaurant Jungsik's "New Korean" cuisine leans westwards. Indeed, some of this kitchen's wonderful sauces wouldn't be out of place at a grand French table, but what is most impressive here is that the Korean elements of the dishes seem to raise them to another level. Bibimbap composed of gochujang, crispy quinoa, and tender Wagyu beef tartare will live long in my memory; while the branzino served simply with white kimchi shows that this is also a kitchen with the utmost confidence in the quality of its ingredients.
This is cooking that is original, impeccably executed, and enormously satisfying. It's the sort of food that makes you involuntarily nod to yourself while you're eating. The space is cool, crisp, and elegant; the service team is sharp, keen and organized.
This was probably one of our best culinary experiences well for my part, I would put that restaurant in my top 3 easily falling in love with high-end restaurants we continued our exploration with the famous restaurant DANIEL. We had an amazing and romantic dinner. The menu and food were seasonal, thoughtful, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Very accommodating for both a diner with allergies and a vegan diner. We both left absolutely stuffed and happy when we left. Service was impeccable and our server Elaine perfectly balanced attentiveness without being obtrusive. A delightful and memorable culinary experience that we will remember for years to come.
Alicia was clearly getting used to the queen treatment she wasn't as nervous anymore and by the end of our little culinary adventure, I didn't feel a once of discomfort coming from her anymore and oo what and experienced our last stop was, when I read the Michelin review about this place I was looking forward to tasting the food but even with the praise I had read it didn't prepare me to the explosion of favor we got to taste that night the review wrote this: An experience at Thomas Keller's Per Se is one to be savored, recounted and remembered. Despite stellar views and a clever design allowing each table a view, your attention won't stray from the plate. Such is the appeal of the place.
There are two menus, one of which is vegetarian and may highlight a playful twist on borscht, with red beet agnolotti and crème fraîche. Both menus end in a grand dessert finale, like seasonal confections as well as such classics as a cappuccino semifreddo served with brioche donuts. They do offer supplements using lavish ingredients, but unless you're richer than Croesus, you needn't consider them. Just put yourself in the chef's hands and relish a meal that is balanced, varied and as seasonal as it gets.
This took the first place on my list by a mile well maybe I got biased because that night Alicia and I got pretty handy with each other we hadn't crossed the line yet but I fell asleep with a huge boner that night after this Alicia became bolder and bolder I knew she was teasing me but I also knew she wasn't ready yet so this was testing my self-control a lot so as a punishment a made a hickey a day every morning she would wake up with a new mark on her skin she even said this morning that I was a dog marking my territory I retort that I was a wolf and she might need to get used to it which made her look at me with fake anger (giggles) shes so cute sometimes I just can't get enough of her
between restaurant and music, I also worked on Alicia's car nothing extravagant but I made sure the car was in top shape I changed the brake suspension tire replace her windows with bulletproof ones just like my car upgraded the alarm system I also took the motor apart and clean and replace anything that was showing sign of breaking at this point it was almost as good as new I also bought a body kit that was making the car looking a little fiercer while keeping a feminine look to the car since the construction company wasn't done with my garage I bought wrap instead of repainting the car. Alicia was clearly rolling her eyes at me in the beginning when I talked to her about her car she didn't see the need to do all this to her car but she knew I loved doing this so she didn't say a thing and just let me be but in one of Derrick visit when he saw his sister car he was so jealous he pout all day long after this Alicia was more than happy to let me modified her car she was even making me suggestion here and there hahaha poor Derrick
I need to get out of my head and start packing now I thought I'd been in our room for 1 hour already and I hadn't even filled half of my luggage yet damn it

I was so excited to see Helena again that I had packed my thing 3 days in advance, of course, I was thrilled to finally meet the woman called Martha and to see where Ace grew up from what I heard from Helena they live on a private island that's screaming I have money and don't know what to do with it well not as much as buying a fucking country but hell that was still a shock to me when I learned about it when I called my mother to tell her I would fly to Ace home she wanted me to go see her before leaving which I did yesterday
when I think about it I should have at least been careful about my appearance but I didn't think Ace hickeys on my skin were that obvious or I was so used to it that I didn't care anymore it was another story for my mother though she kept asking me if we had done it if Ace was respectful if anything was wrong I could come back here anytime and again I got the sex talk it took me 2 hours before she finally calmed down and start talking about the reason I was here, to begin with, my trip to Ace home soon
At first, I thought her questions were silly but then I realized she was just anxious that I would be 18 hours away by plane from them for 2 whole weeks since I had never left New York before I don't need to say that I was never far away from my family either I don't know why but I didn't faze me a bit which was weird since it would be the first time I would be so far away from them but then I thought about Ace and the feeling of security and love I felt every time I thought to see or feel him beside me and understood that I was considering him my family already maybe that why I wasn't feeling anxious or nervous about this
My brother, on the other hand, was just plain jealous it didn't help when I said they live in a castle and that Ace had his own racetrack back at his home of course I exaggerated some things to make him even more jealous which worked wonders with him (giggles) this guy was so easy to read and I had so much fun teasing my brother every time he texted me I would rub it in his face and start talking about how great this trip will be how i can't wait to see Aces cars how nice flying in a jet would be at one point he just stops texting me Ace had to intervene and told Derrick that he would also bring him to his home one day for Derrick to revert back his usual cheerfully personality
Now that I think about it I feel a little bad about it humph it's all Ace's fault I started becoming petty because of him ... talking about him isn't he taking his sweet time making his luggage we need to leave soon I thought making my way toward our room
