Capítulo 27: Chapter 27: First Day of Work

My interview went well. I got the job. I will be working Monday through Thursday from 3:00 P.M. to 10 P.M. It wasn’t a full-time job, but it was something. She basically let me decide my hours. I told her weekends weren’t good for me.

It would probably get stressful and tiring, but I knew I could handle it and make it work. Tonight would be my first shift at the coffee shop. I hogged the bathroom for about two hours between showering and getting ready.

Luckily, Liz didn’t need it for any purpose. Liz and Zayn were going to Deadwood for a family dinner with Zayn’s family and catching a late movie afterward.

Classes got out early today. The days that followed today only gave me one hour between school and work, but it was enough time.

The coffee shop's most chaotic hours were the morning hours. Terry, the woman that hired m,e told me that at nighttime, it would oftentimes be dead. From personal experience, I knew that wasn’t entirely true.
