This is an amazing book that is worth every penny. It’s incredibly well written, imaginative and original. I don’t understand the people writing that it’s unoriginal and they’ve read something like it before. I read on 4 different sites and read A LOT of books, and I’ve never read anything like it. The imagination of this author is original and she comes up with imaginary things I haven’t read elsewhere. It’s a slow burn and the vampire lead in this book is what I would expect a real vampire to be like. Not just saying nasty things, but actually being throughly dark in his actions as well. I personally feel most vampiric leads are written too soft or empathic. They are dead creatures who roam around in the dark, scratching inside their coffins and puts their fangs in innocent people, come on now. I feel the author got this persona spot on. So, so good. Give it a read, you wont regret it 😊

The FL starts out a little weak, which is understandable based on her situatio, but this is a weak to strong trope and it is turning out quite well. The locked chapters are worth reading and there is never a dull moment in this story. I'll keep reading to see how you unravel the world around Hiln and I'm especially curious as to what she is.
