Capítulo 78: 74. Alliance
Seeing the person in front of me had me a bit excited. I respected the guy for what he did. He didn't back down from anything and took everything and everyone head on. Massive respect for the Ghost of Sparta. The man who killed every God.
I would do the same, if my family was killed because of some God. I would definitely go on a rampage and kill every God, I see. Be they innocent or not, doesn't matter. I would torture and kill, until nothing was left. I am that type of person.
Getting myself ready and prepared for anything unexpected, I started walking to him. I was vigilant for anything as this guy could clap my ass anytime of the da, if he got free from his constraints.
(If I remember correctly, in the game lore. Uranus created the infinite cosmos, multiverse or Omniverse was made by him. He was defeated by Kronos and Kronos was further defeated by Zeus, who took his throne and became the God of Olympus.
If I base it on that then Greek pantheon is either the strongest or second strongest. The rest of the Gods came into being through faith of the people. Even if people stopped believing in them, once they are born. They are a separate entity and can live without relying on faith.)
Now, I need to confront a guy who was eventually able to Kill Zeus. Getting mentally ready, I walked in front of the Ghost of Sparta. "Well, Well, if it isn't the abandoned Dog of Gods". I said to his face and he just looked at me like I am a bug.
"What do you want?" Without any intro or anything, he just got straight to the point. His face looked impatient like I wasn't worth talking to.
"I am here to make you an offer". I said to him like a typical villain. I know its risky but I need an ally. There are plenty of Gods and other who can move at infinite speeds. Helios' light has infinite speed, Hermes can move at infinite speeds. Valkyries can travel the Infinite branches of the Yggdrasil and move the dead to Vallhala or Niflheim.
Even if I achieve Mastered Ultra Instinct, I won't be having infinite speed and contending against people who can destroy multiverses is not very practical without getting some power myself. I need Divinity to be able to contend against the Gods. This guy is my best bet, even if I met him by chance.
I am not letting this chance go."What can you possibly offer me? Puny Mortal". Okay that irked me a bit. I know, I am weaker than him but still. I have my pride.
"Hmph, so much for saying puny to me when you can't get out of those restraints yourself. Puny Demi-God". I fired back with contempt in my voice.
"Cut to the chase, what can you possibly offer me?" Kratos said to me, getting impatient already.
"I can get you out of those restraints but-" I said to him(Vegeta is an anomaly, so not bound. remember that.) and added a dramatic pause in the middle. Kratos looked at me totally annoyed from that.
"But What" He said to me with anger visible on his face.
"But you will have to ally with me". I said to him, I know serving me will be out of the question. So allying is the next best option.
"And why would I ally with you, even if you free me." He said with total derision. He was looking down on me.
"I have a bone to pick with the Greeks. If you are willing, we can take vengeance together". I said to him with my arms folded and Anger visible in my eyes.
This got him thinking, he looked at my face and thought about my offer. We kept staring t each other for a while. "Alright, I will agree but on one condition. Zeus' and Ares' head is mine. If you betray me, I will come for you, next". Kratos said to me with a bit less contempt in his voice now. He probably saw through my strength. He is the God of Strength after all.
I may not be al that powerful but my SS4 is not a small multiplier. I can fight toe to toe with minor Gods easily, depending on the type of Divinity that they have. I can potentially match most of the Minor Gods but it will only last for an Hour, so I have to make it count.
Getting into my SS4 transformation, I took charge and fired a full powered beam of Final Flash at the Pillar. The pillar trembled and Kratos also started pulling on the chains. Under our full pressure, the pillars cracked and suddenly combusted into an explosion.
Sending us both flying back, I sustained some injuries but nothing too serious. I shielded myself on the last second. Kratos, also only got some bruises and nothing too serious. He just stood up and walked towards me like nothing happened.
He suddenly punched at me with a lot of strength. Which, I countered with a punch of my own, sending me skidding backwards."Good, at least you are not that weak". Kratos said to me with a neutral tone." I will train you so that you won't become a liability on me. You are too weak". Those words stung but were very true.
I could probably ask him to help me with the new energy. This could help me with my training and gaining strength. I just stood there contemplating on what he said. It looks like Kratos was honourable enough o keep his end of the deal. Now that the alliance between us is established, I can at least confront the Gods, somewhat.
But it looks like he wants to train me. I look forward to the amount to strength that I can gain from this training. My blood was boiling, from just imagining it. I had a small smile on my face.
