Same as manga or anime just with romance being added in soma with erina, plot still same, minor change like soma tie with his opponent when in anime he lose, in story soma journey with his dad around the world, but he still have almost the same result as the original, this is just wish fullfillment, same plot, same cuisine, same development, some oc who appear as soma plot armor so not same as the ori, just with clear soma x eri romance relationship. Starting chapter azami i skim over to see the plot and disappointed, but thank you for your work, still have fun reading this

This is like a highschool research paper aka Copy Paste of Wikipedia with minor edits. Nothing much change beside the interaction between some characters.
This Soma is not dense and flirts with Erina from time tp time but the rest of the story is same. He never wins. The author hypes him so much but he still losses just lik in the canon.q
would have been a great story if author wrote it well. plot is messed up. despite learning all over the world, soma is at same level as others. when azami arc gets done, we get an unknown person who despite having no name easily defeats soma and is now after his lover. recommended not to read
Much better choices of joichiro for his son. But one question, why nerf him? I mean he got mad skills and 8 years of experience over the world. He should made a name for himself by now and easily end tsukasa's 1st seat reign. Good story tho, interesting points and changes from the og but sadly, its dissapointing that soma in this story has rubbish talent. It seams like he only improved his personality around the globe and not his cooking.
Literally a novel version of the manga. If you want some minor Soma and Erina fluff you might like this but otherwise just read the original manga, it more enjoyable that way. The romantic stuff doesn't even affect the plot one bit so its pointless either way. 8 years of cooking all around the world, and you might think "hey, isn't that kinda op?", but no changes to Soma's skill has been shown, i mean atleast change the food he cooks you know. The only difference this Soma has from canon is that he's more mature and knows alot of people. Its really frustrating to read this story just knowing what happens next, even with all these comments you'd expect the author to do something but i guess its pointless at this point of the story. From a promising start to just being a copy-paste story. Not even worth a read anymore. Sadly.

This version of Souma has a lot of potential but... Why did you decide to nerf him? Is it that... that I hate to stand out thing that MCs are now? Aside from that this novel was almost identical with the anime, with some changes. Once you're finished with this one, I'd suggest you find one more anime to write a fanfic of then write your original or something.

I thought there would be something new or different since the premise was that Soma the Mc got proper training from around the world. from a young age. In the end it was still a copy and paste from the main story. Even with the Relationship with Soma and Erina did not change the story one bit.
