Damn that was an intense experience. It was an emotional roller coaster. But where is book two? The thought of it ending like this is hard to swallow. But i do get how hard it is for someone to come out, i have many friends who came out and i watched the pain the joy the fear... but I've also seen the ridicule of homophobes too and thats scary in of its self. But what I dont get is why she didn't ask her cuzin for advice on how and why she should open up to her family.

This is one of the YURI novels that I can surely recommend to you fellas. First, a typical struggle of every closet where it gave us the ideas or might be some of us already experienced it. The illustration of difficulties, internal struggle, external factors, confusions, self denial, fears and then be caught up with happiness, eternal bliss, and excitement caused by so called LOVE. This novel convey it truthfully and satisfactorily as the AUTHOR surely makes me fall deeply with emotions.

I can say I'm very impressed with the pacing of the story--not like your typical fast paced romance. And oh boy, the roller coaster of emotions I had while reading this. No words. Author is often unassuming but which reader knew author's prowess in selecting and spinning magnetic words into fantastic chapters making up this oh-so-delicious tale as entitled. Starting the book, I admit I was a bit nervous about its content. I've read through some of the reviews, especially a particularly critical one, and wasn't sure how to go into this book. I've read a lot of GL books before with a modern-day setting, that unfortunately, doesn't turn out that great. But, this book managed to exceed my expectations. The first few chapters, in my opinion, start a bit slow but begin to pick up speed as the storyline progresses. So far, so good! I found myself more invested in the story than I expected and became pretty darn satisfied as Andy and Ericka made strides in their relationship, and frustrated when the pair meet some obstacles along the way. There were a few things that peeve me, such as Ericka's jealousy and Andy ultimately folding into apologizing. (Ericka practically is swimming in vinegar.) The trust dynamic between the two concerned me a bit, but I suppose trust is something that develops with time. I'm not too keen on the lyrical aspect of the novel as they appear a bit sudden for me, but it's not that big of an issue that I would quit reading. After all, romance is something that you give to another, your expression of love.) If Andy and Erica's way of expressing love for each other is to sing, great! They're free to do as they please. (I know for one, I would be flattered if someone started to sing their love for me, lol) In conclusion, this novel is a pretty good GL with a modern setting. It has an exciting story dynamic, and if you're a romantic, this might be the novel for you. All in all, keep up the excellent work! There's already a lot of dropped GL books out there, so please do not become another one. So chin up and carry one. To quote Robert Frost: "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference."

Finding the right words to express this amazing ongoing novel, has been a challenge to say the least. It has everything a basic novel needs such as a plot, characters so on and yata yata. But honestly what makes this novel so worth while is when you least expect it your caught in a rollercoaster of excitement and through the emotions the characters express and feel. You are taken through a journey of laughs, fear, and heart pounding moments that well put you on the edge of your seat! A big congratulations and well done to the author. Keep it up Cha Yoon!

I only had a short glimpse, but enough to describe my first impression. It has the feeling of a slice of life genre with a calm and tranquil air, very enjoyable with a cup of tea 😊 adequate length of chapters and well written, where you already get a sense, that this is going to be deep. I did not get to the romance part yet, nor to any disharmonious one, but the cute little banter between familiy and friends make you heart go warm.
