This is a nice story with a novel approach exploring an often ignored character Chen Linjian. This novel has a very light and comedic feel, and is for people who are not too hung up on authenticity or realism, going with the flow so to speak. Now for my ratings: Writing quality 3 stars - because grammar and spelling need a lot of work. Best get an editor or some program to put it through. Stability of release 5 stars - because why not? ;) Story Development 3 stars - this is my personal opinion as I cringe every time there are plot holes or unrealistic moments (there are a lot of those), otherwise the story is interesting. Character Development 4 stars - I would give 5 stars but the character is too op and too inconsistent in my opinion, so 4 stars. World Development 4 stars - here it is hard to get 5 stars for world building unless it is emperor domination or warlock of the magus world. I gave 4 stars as I liked the cooking theme, which had a feel of magic chef of ice and fire. Overall I believe it is a story worth reading, and the author is still working on it tirelessly. The author has a lot of ideas he mentioned to me personally, so I look forward to reading the next volumes. Thanks Zero ;)
