"Oh Oh, of course.!"
The mask muffled his voice, which made the sound much more than a weird cry of a beast.
"That's more like it!"
Two of the men began walking over to pick up the carcasses.
'Of course not!'
Taking someone else's hardwork was something Bai Li would never do, he was a righteous man to say the least. Though some of his traits proved to be peculiar calculating his righteousness.
Bai Li activated his Chilled Resolve to check out his opponents, but what came as a simple beating up the bullies story, the air around him dreaded in despair. His heightened senses proved to be troublesome to his opponents which showed pretty much his surroundings.
A knife tainted with red blood was behind a man's garments and most likely recently made. The distinct stench of blood waffed to his strong senses, which wanted to make him gag.
Some grip marks could be seen if one looked hard enough under the thin clothing one would wear in a desert to minimize heat. The victim must've struggled to survive and grabbed at his enemies to fulfill his revenge, but met a cruel fate with a cold blade.
This was certainly not their first time stealing from others, neither was it their first time getting their hands dirty.
People like them disgusted him the most, people out in the wilderness try hard to sustain a modest life in the city and most likely had family to return to. And to just die trying to provide for the family?
Despicable.
He found the same punishment to be for the good, eliminating evil at its roots.
Is it not fair to return the lives that they have killed? They have already lost their freedom of life after taking another so easily.
Muscles began constricting on his arms, the man with the dagger was tense about the man, but the events occured to soon, a pike, formed by the dark fog of his cowl changing form, was already through the man's neck.
"Wha-"
He pulled out the spike, leaving blood to splatter around the sand, paving it red, a true masterpiece.
"Little Ape! What.."
This one was much more prepared, the blood splattered truly made the mask more terrifying as some of the blood painted the demonic face. He brandished a sword and fend off against the pike.
Da Yuan stayed behind with Mo Tian to protect him from troubles, simply thinking one man against their large group was nothing.
Mo Tian's henchmen came to aid in the remainder of the man.
The sword used to fend off Bai Li's pike was a much precised attack, the pike's form was very miniscule at the tip to act as a greater tool in penetration.
The sword was bound to break if he were to use it again.
"Stop right now and I promise we'll kill you quickly. If you do not, I will find your family and all you loved and give them the same fate."
Mo Tian was truly furious. but a tinge of fear was also left within him. A bow materialized in front of him, his own beast soul that was bought. A Primordial Dust Falcon Shooter Bow. Bai Li memorized it being the most purchased bow due to its quick usage and availability. The ability of the bow was also not quite far from the abilities of other bows of its caliber.
"Will I?"
He rebutted back and reformed the pike into a bonafide blade.
The second of the ape brothers charged forward with an upward strike.
The slow moving blade struck the blade right on time with his downward parry. The strength and body class different was immense and Bai Li rose from the ground.
Once you were in the air, you'd be an easy target as movement is heavily restricted by gravity.
The two henchmen came leaping towards them with their weapons and activated their martial arts.
But what came to an introduction was the versatility of the cowl. As long as his mental fortitude could handle multiple lines of thought processes, the form could be changed with ease.
He materialized the cowl around his footing as he faced downwards and used it as a spring to jump forward.
The unexpected attack became a total reversal.
The henchmen were now the sitting ducks, though the henchmen did no wrong and haven't harmed anybody as of yet, they were key witnesses. Their weakness became their fear and not standing up to the challenge. They were mixing pessimistic thoughts with destiny for them to be forever in their clutches.
He mustered up the cowl to form two similar blades of small heights, forming the cowl and using the rotation of his body to do a spiral slash on the opponents.
The force of the jump allowed him to do precise strikes on their shoulders and coming down towards the armpit, a precise movement unaccomplishable for him if it weren't for Chilled Resolve.
The cries were heard for miles on end but nobody was present to pick up on them.
"Just get over it, put some pressure on the wound."
Bai Li tossed some gauze prepared in emergencies in case if he were injured.
The last ape recovered and retreated back, Da Yuan was infuriated enough with the death of one of his comrades who he nurtured from the get go for twenty years. He was just a decoy for him if he ever needed to use him, but now that he was dead, two decades of hardwork staying in the First Gate was down the drain.
He couldn't stand there and was facing humility that his group couldn't handle a simple shrimp.
"You..."
Before he finished his words, he rushed forward with a devastating punch. His two blades were brought together to form a spinning circle going backwards. The fist struck the cowl, which was meant to reduce the impact of the fists. He coughed a mouthful of blood, though he had blocked a great percentage of the force, the impact was large on his small frame.
"I will make sure you regret ever killing one of us."
A blazing transparent red fire was on his fist.
The Body of Arts Cold Steel Gorilla used were of contradictory to his name. The name was given to the power and fighting style one uses, forcing their soul energy to divide caused massive heat reactions for him to produce such flames.
But such power came as great prices, if Bai Li was young still and knew nothing of them, he would definitely have chosen it as well.
The Body of Art was called the Fiery Ape God's Fist.
