it would be nice if these changes were outlined in the story, even if it were just the MC trying to find out why it is different. the bonus to this is twofold, one is that people will not constantly point out the changes you made as mistakes thinking that you just have no idea about the naruto world, and the second is that people like me will not have to spend so much time trying to figure out why the academy is only 3-4 years instead of the 6 years it is in cannon.
