I always thought that it made a certain kind of sense to order it like jinx, hex, and then curse. jinx being the least damaging or annoying effect (imagine the tickling spell), hex being more serious, and curses being the most damaging and/or long lasting negative effect.
One thing I find annoying is that there isn't a strict definition of a curse or a hex. I mean, hexes are supposed to be from annoying and midly irritating to mildly debilitating whist curses are everything more severe than that... those are all charms! It's very annoying!

This is not really a story at the moment. it's more of a summary with elements of a story. the chapters are extremely short as well. the combination of assassin's creed and Harry Potter is somewhat interesting, but the current execution is extremely lacking. If I were you author, I would take your current chapters and use them as a prompt to write out fuller chapters.
