I've only read a few novels and only the top 5 I can recommend to people with confidence that they will like it too. 1. Surviving the Game as a Barbarian (This has the same vibe in terms the struggle, hope, characters, and is my favorite of all time hands down. The main character is the great as he doesn't play an offensive role, he plays a defensive one and he's still so damn strong.) 2. I Became an Evolving Space Monster (MC IS THE HORROR MONSTER, it's a fun read and good read because of the Characters. He is a menace he that people aims to prevent his main race from spawning in the world with how he traumatized people in the game is crazy!!! Would recommend to read for people who like power fantasy, and cunning MC who still struggles.) 3. I Became a Tyrant of a Defense Game (I need not say more if you've read it to this point) 4. The Nebula's Civilization (It's about managing and conquering, the focus is on of course the chosen races and their key figures of the players. And man are those characters great!! The players are also quite fun people. 5. Star-Embracing Swordmaster (The main character has the traits like High Lineage, Blessed Individual (Kinda), and a Spirit Guide. But he still struggles to become strong, and there are consequences of his actions in the worlds politics or the like!!)

Now that's a bad thing to do, not making the other areas you can't see at night well lit. Reminds me how night vision just makes you see Black and White in D&D. You get reminded the importance of seeing color or objects clearly the moment you rely on it so much then mess up.
A towering over ten feet tall wooden wall surrounded the campsite with four gates that could be closed at any time if there was a sudden attack. Xiao Chen and his troops didn't require the use of torches since they could still see fairly even when it was dark, but with lesser range unlike during the day.
