If you are truly set on rewriting, then I will throw an idea at you. You could try doing something like SCOG, where the MC(Lin Ming) sends his memories or emotions, whichever you prefer more, back to the past to redo everything. Lin Ming truly did make a few mistakes and has regrets at the end of MW, such as Sheng Mei, so it would be interesting. It would turn the story into more of a "fix it" story though. The regular reincarnated genius thing is a bit overdone, but I will read whatever you decide to do. Still think that this doesn't need a rewrite though, it's better to see the MCs growth than to have an already completed protagonist imo.

Thanks for the chapter. You are probably gonna have to deal with a lot of people comparing your MC to Lin Ming, but don't let it bother you too much. Lin Ming was a very determined person from the beginning of the story and he only got stronger in that regard, no way a modern person can compare in a short time. Keep up the good work =)

Understandable. Just wasn't too sure if you had any plans regarding it or not, I don't really remember MW too well but I think the weapon stuff only went so far as having a certain "momentum" to it and the "one with the spear" stuff, while DE had Sword Force, Sword Domains and the Sword Dao, so it probably wouldn't mesh that well together now that I'm thinking about it. Excited to see what you come up with =)
Thanks for the chapters. I know it's probably a bit early, but if you want to try to get some inspiration on sword techniques and laws, I recommend Desolate Era. Obviously the system is different, but MW didn't really explore laws/daos for weapons, so maybe it will help a bit.
