Thank you for the great review, and for taking the time to read!
Read the first three chapters, and I have to say the part that stands out to me the most is the prose used. The writing paints a very vivid picture, the vocabulary is very high (Found myself searching up more than just a few words 😭) and it is very masterfully crafted. As for the plot, I can't really say much, as it's obvious I haven't read enough to make a review on it. One critique that I do have is that at some moments, the elegant explanations can feel just a tad bit overdone and overwhelming. The first-person narrator is, thankfully, not passive and very active, as well as being very descriptive. My second only critique is that some sections can feel a bit info dumpy, especially in the beginning where there is little to no dialogue. But besides that, you have a great story.
Guess who this guy was inspired by?
In front of him, the man, who just had 7 cups shattered over his head, and beer poured onto of him, showed not a single sign of it. There wasn't a drop of blood on his perfect white skin. There wasn't a single sign of his hair, nor suit wet from the water that had been dropped unto of his head. In fact, his white suit, clean blonde hair, and flawless face were just as flawless as they had been before the assault.

Author here. This is my best (and also only) book on this website. This is my first time actually writing a web novel, so I hope I can be cut a little slack. Currently aiming for around one chapter a day. The story follows a boy named Raiden and his sister who conceal a hidden past and life, as they live in a world that is on the brink of collapse, divided between magicians and non-magicians. There will be a form of romance in the book, but not exactly the pure and wholesome type. This book will NOT be a harem. At no point in the story will Raiden ever have more than one girl love him. Maybe not even that. Thanks for taking the time to check the story out. If you have any questions or suggestion, you could ask below or leave your own review.
I have to say, Oregairu is a perfect comparison for this series. Reading the internal thoughts of each character, as well as Kaito and Misaki's interaction's feel really similar to watching Hikigaya and Yukino. Not to mention, as an MC, Kaito has a very active and funny internal monologue. The writing style is good, little to no grammatical mistakes, and the chapters are a perfect length to binge. A definite must read!
