No, that one’s on me. At that time I forgot that the description explicitly stated that he would both the pro’s and con’s of being a demon. So going with that I wrote him to be surprised when in actually he shouldn’t have been.
Demonic Assimilation transformed him temporarily into a demon, bestowing him with enhanced regeneration and physical strength. What it didn't clarify was that it also came with the same vulnerabilities.
