The city had a cold, dark atmosphere, the tall, pointed buildings primarily painted in shades of dark grey, dark blue, and black. But what caught Elliot's attention most were the countless churches—or at least, buildings that resembled churches. Just like in my vision, he thought, quickly lowering his head again.
