Some aspects of his powers were intentionally limited, possibly as a form of control, or to prevent certain abilities from manifesting to their full potential. After they left, I created more Guardians- this time non-sentient. And left them to defend the Kulve Taroths. They were hunched golems made from lava, and while each wasn't too strong, they could combine or use teamwork to massively increase their power… Didn't wanna make it impossible for an aggressor to reach the place, after all, conflict breeds strength.

Just as I started consuming his energy back, his wings shifted around, before growing sharp points and stabbing me in the side. To add insult to injury, they also began absorbing my energy. As if it couldn't get worse, a brand new set of wings burst forth from his back, as with a single flap he dragged me up into the air.

Yes, at first, I would feel joy in defeating the villains but... after some time, it... becomes repetitive. No villain would be able to match me in power if I use a system, for example, and continue powering up at a lightning pace.

Other than that, I slightly miscalculated something about coming out so late... I was trying my best to avoid direct sunlight by waiting for nightfall, but that didn't help much either. Moonlight is essentially just 80-90% less direct sunlight. This meant that I was still absorbing a lot of solar radiation, but it was just enough for my body to handle without my hair going all shiny on me.
