This was done. Naruto: The GodLike Hokage, I think.

Examining the now whitish solution, I discovered that it was actually tiny, countless bone fragments. It seemed that the root of the disease was Kimimaro's own bones, or maybe they were only in his bone marrow. Either way, his bones were destroyed and expelled from his body, while completely new bones grew inside him. The process seemed painful, but he endured it like a champion.

This was one of the best Fanfics I have ever read. Very sad that it ended, it is a rare treat to read something this well written with its own original plot. Even rarer is any quality story written from the viewpoint of a non-humanoid.

Honestly, if they weren't undead I only see Jones being able to match a single Valkyrie. Her super strength, might, bring her to their level. And her Avenger training might have made her eligible to enter their ranks, as a recruit. To an Asgardian, she isn't anything special.

With their obstacle finally destroyed, a small army of undead Valkyrie surged forward, their every step shaking the stone floor below. With a ferocious battle cry, Jessica lunged into action. Every movement was a calculated dance of power and precision, as she swung her sword with blinding speed, cleaving through the ranks of the Valkyrie. Her superhuman strength allowed her to send them flying with each strike, and her armor protected her from their desperate blows.

I feel like i just saw a puppy being kicked.....

The ninth match, the match I was expecting. Now, I don't mean I was looking forward to seeing Lee battle spectacularly, no no. I was waiting for Lee to have what he deserved. Holding back? Proving his ninja way? Opening gates to battle with a genius? Fuck off. Hypocrite son of a bitch. All he did was underestimating his opponents by wearing weights and talking about honesty. Bullshit. He deserved what had happened to him. And Gai? Stupid son of a bitch, not stopping the match because Lee was proving something. Only if Lee died would it be awesome.
