Ah, this seems like a good time to give a brief explanation of the desert continent as well. First off, I'm pretty certain it's called Krieger but I know it's definitely home to the beast races. I'm not sure how many types of beast races there actually are but it should be pretty diverse given what I've read up on it.

As we move deeper inside, presumably to Mama's quarter, I am forced to duck down and roll away. Midroll, I pull out a blade behind my back, hidden by my coat. Finishing my roll, legs bent and my left hand pushed against the ground, I propel myself back where I was. Holding my blade, a yoroi-doshi otherwise known as an armor-piercing tanto, I first bring the blade up to parry an overhead swing of an armored fist. Sparks fly as my tanto diverts the fist to my left, and with a tilt of my body, the fist misses me by a hairsbreadth. Not stopping there, I reverse the grip of my tanto, before bringing it down on the gaps between the armor and the helmet of the assailant. I am stopped short when a hand grabs my wrist.
