What was wrong with Jaune? It was a simple exchange, really. Jaune's semblance, for Pyrrha's life. The only valuable thing Jaune had was his semblance, and Adam took it as a trade to save Pyrrha's life. So, is it considered villainous to save someone when you get something in return? Obviously not. And yeah, I agree that selfish hypocrite b*stards have a harder time making a harem. But actually, I won't classify Adam as such. Selfish? Sure. But don't forget that he could also be considered a 'hero', since he got rid of Salem, and thus saved Remnant- even if he didn't do that with this intention, it still doesn't change the outcome that humanity in Remnant don't have to fear Salem anymore. Kiana is indeed a 'hero'.... Same with Bianka, so there will indeed be some drama and conflict. And well, Mei is neither good or bad, she can be both, and I really don't think she would care if Adam was selfish and willing to kill

Adam is definitely a hypocrite and a selfish jerk. But lets be real here, is that bad? He is not really a villain who would go out of his way to kill innocent people, and neither is he a hero, as it has obviously been shown, he only cares about the people close to him. And to be honest, I feel like not many people would manage to retain their moral values when they go to a FICTIONAL world without any power, and can die at any moment. He just adapted to the circumstances and dealt with those negative thoughts the best he could.
