Maybe, but what the Ottoman Conquest didn't really resemble the colonialism that we know of today. Sure, it had similarities like the main culture and language being replaced. But the Ottomans weren't acting superior and they did add to both the culture and the prosperity of the region. colonialism and Imperialism on the other hand caused so many tragedies that and was entirely focused on funneling all resources back to it's main country.

Every. Single. FUCKING. Time! I don't even hate Daphne Greengrass but I become so irritated when I see her in a HP fanfic due to how many times I see her as main love interst when she isn't even in the movies and is only mentioned in passing in the books. You have Luna, Cho, Fleur Delacour, and Hermoine but they are rarely used if ever!
