The 18th century was still a time of religious fervor, so the MC won't offer much personal commentary on the religion, but will instead present it as accurately as possible.

Thank you for your reply and comments. My original intention was to write about an ordinary modern person who reborn to the colonial American. He's just an average person with no special skills, so he will experience some rather hard time before gradually becoming stronger. Your suggestions are very valuable, and I will consider making some adjustments to make the MC more powerful as it progresses. However, he will still be quite weak in the beginning and won’t be like the MC in other novels who can easily manipulate people in that era like they're fools. As for the MC’s appearance, he will be very handsome and tall, which is why Sofia is attracted to him. I planned to have him describe his appearance in a few chapters.
