Yes now he could travel to earth, as for seeing system yes he can with his rinnegan, and to be clear h3 already have the rinnegan, but he isn’t that interested in this system as he is in the barrier and the gate to another world. So, when he gets his curiosity out he will probably will use his rinnegan to see the system. And for why hadn’t he used the rinnegan in the new world yet… seriously he didn’t see the opportunity for it. Everyone he had met until now he could deal with them easily even without activating his sharingan, and that was overkill too. He had just used sharingan till now just for his genjutsu and mangekupi sharingan to kill goblins(maggots) in the cave so he doesn’t get disgusting blood of those maggots on his hand or armor.
