For the plot

Yeah, the first addition to your harem is a slave. That doesn't seem in line with his character at all. The author/Lathel must be a big fan of Japanese manga with slave harems.

There are less beautiful girls than Lilith, who he thinks are heroines like Claire and Malina. There's even someone equal to Lilith, who he has never assumed is a heroine, aka Charlotte. He better not buy her because she still meets all of the criteria for her to be a heroine. Of course, she won't be a heroine because Lathel says she most likely isn't, even with no evidence to show for it. This situation is perfect for a male lead to save her after she is bought. Right now, he should assume she's a heroine like he always does, especially with how everything is set up.

I still can't get over how he's having to buy slaves to fill up his harem.

How does he know that? What if Alec likes her so much that he saves her after someone buys her? Isn't that something that would happen to a female lead? This guy uses the most ridiculous logic to say who is a heroine and who isn't. Even up to this point, the only person he has gotten a notification for and knows without a doubt if they are a heroine is Lilith. It's obvious that every girl he thinks is a heroine will end up being a heroine without any evidence. And every girl who he says isn't a heroine will not be one also without any evidence, even when they meet his random checklist of what a heroine is.

He seriously has no evidence to claim that Rolen is a heroine. He never even mentioned Rolen and the word heroine in the same sentence until a few chapters ago. I keep telling myself it will get better. I'm honestly surprised I've made it this far into the novel. Now, he has evidence that she isn't a heroine, but he still assumes that she is one based on absolutely nothing. I'm going to have to stop reading this. It is going to raise my blood pressure to astronomical levels if I keep going.

It's ridiculous how he never thought Rolen was a heroine until about 3 chapters ago. Lathel, seeing her get sold off in a slave auction by Alec, makes him think she's a heroine. It makes zero sense. Even if she is a heroine, she's exactly like that 5 colored stone, and since Alec sold her, then it's fair game. With everything that's happened to Rolen, he should assume she is not a heroine. At this point, Lathel should think every girl on the planet is a heroine.

It's so weird how he never considered Rolen a heroine before this point, and now he thinks she is one out of nowhere.
