Title almost put me off but I'm glad I tried it anyway, this really is a banger. The Mc is smart but not too smart, he's neither a goody two shoes nor edgy, he doesn't pwn everyone with op magic or whatever, the other characters from the show are competent and dangerous. There is a moment where you might think the plot will stay the same as canon but it does change, it's just a slow burn. This is not your standard power fantasy slop.
